It's funny; Brandon looked so much taller in all the Crossroads videos... Then I realized Jim Henry was one of "the four short guys". :)
ОтветитьWow, this was cool. Stuart certainly held his own! Good job!
ОтветитьSo awesome to hear Eric on a post, a truly an amazing singer.
ОтветитьWay too much fun! The bass did a great job and of course the three champs were on point as always. I loved the song selection.
ОтветитьI want to do this stuff.
ОтветитьAnybody know what the first song is?
Ответить"Jeanie, with the light brown hair" . The entire intro was written for the barbershop version - all the way up to "the love I loved in vain." The original composition began with "I dream of Jeanie.". In 1850, Stephen Foster married Jane Denny McDowell, whose nickname was "Jennie." The marriage was short-lived, however, as the pair suffered numerous conflicts and ultimately separated in 1853. Perhaps in an attempt to win back his wife, Foster composed "Jeanie With the Light Brown Hair" in 1854.
ОтветитьEdmund, if you really like what you hear and are serious about this comment, go to the Barbershop Harmony Society's web page (just do a Google search for the above phrase) and find a group near you; they'd be happy to satisfy your singing urges! :)
ОтветитьAnyone know what arrangement of Jeanie they are using?
ОтветитьOkay ... so that didn't suck ... and I especially liked the collective "awwww" from the crowd after Mam'selle, which is the universal reaction to that song when it is sung well ... thanks for posting!
ОтветитьMaravilhoso, simples e maravilhoso
Ответитьquentin tarantino is a great bass
Ответитьnice.
ОтветитьIf only I could hear harmony like this everyday....
ОтветитьThe song at 8:50 is mad smooth....
ОтветитьEric dalbey singing tags
ОтветитьGo Stuart! You are wonderful!
ОтветитьI just stumbled onto this video from another link and wanted to comment that it was freakin' amazing. From the first hello to the last goodbye was some extraordinary singing! Thanks for sharing and for reminding me why I love barbershop harmony.
ОтветитьMuito legal os tenores principalmente o 1 tenor que timbre gostoso. Parabéns por esta formação Deus abençoe.
ОтветитьI love watching basses fangirling as hard as Stuart was XD
Ответитьthe end. holy overtones.
ОтветитьI have met Eric and Tim and sung with them and performed in the same international show with my own quartet.. Let me tell you the harmony is way crazier in person and with the rest of Vocal Spectrum. We were in Olathe KS close to Kansas City. It was my senior year of high school. My quartet name was Riptide. The palace (it seemed like one) where we performed was the most beautiful place I’ve seen in my life.
Ответитьomg yes yes yes :) brandon guyton amaze !
ОтветитьOH MY GOD!!!
They're not woofy.
They're not depressing.
Second Edition's legacy has finally got traction.
The Buffalo Bills, the Confederates, the Sidewinders ..... right up to Jokers Wild, are smiling.
That open, ringing sound that Acoustix did so very much to destroy.
I hates me duh woofy more than I hate satan.
And I hate him so much I don't even capitalize his name.
But it's still not spelled "satin".
Wall to wall, open, sweet chords. I am impressed.
Drive a stake in "woofy" forever.
A thunderbox bass also don't hurt.
Ответитьcompletely and utterly amazing. im soon to sing hello mary lou in my own barbershop and can only pray to be as good as these guys
Ответитьbari was a little overbearing
ОтветитьThis is why these guys are champions. That whole set was utterly insane. Little bits of issues that would be expected when you only practiced once, but for one rehearsal, that was just insane.
Ответитьdamn! the one wearing the blue jeans is packing some major heat! you go boy!
ОтветитьYou guys have a lot of potential as a quartet..really great blend. Hope you continue.
Ответитьwow
Ответитьthat intonation and blend YASSSSSSS!
ОтветитьIt'd be livin' a dream singing with these champs. An experience you'd never forget!
Ответитьthey are awesome
ОтветитьI didn't know Quinton Tarantino could sing!
ОтветитьJust stumbled across this now !!! So Great !!! Fantastic job, well done!!! With our own Stuart Sides ;-) It sounds like you belong there, between the other greats !!!
ОтветитьJust found this beautiful song and checked out other top quartets singing this song and found they all had a bass that sang to loud. Stuart sides sings this song so beautiful with the right amount of bass volume.Well done stuart
ОтветитьGreat quartet,great singing!
ОтветитьThe chording on Mamselle, especially for Stuart, has to be perfect to make the sound "expand." That bass did a fantastic job! I was lucky enough to sing this with Brandon and Chad (along with Heath Wheeler) and realized how good of a training arrangement for the ear. It's not barbershop, but a good song and fun, challenging arrangement.
ОтветитьBoy is that bass holding the other 3 guys back. LOL
ОтветитьThat last song was truly a treat! First time hearing that song and feeling it! Wow
ОтветитьBreathtaking! Bless you for creating so much joy💖
ОтветитьWow!
ОтветитьGlad I found these guys again. Great balance and blend, great arrangements, great talent. Hard to believe only one rehearsal.
ОтветитьOften sounds like > 4 lines of harmony.
ОтветитьNo one will ever sing it better than Second Edition.
