Altair is my favorite assassin

One thing I really loved was how the blade looked so long (pause) when you were assassinating someone. I got pissed off in the later assassins creed games like 3 (i think) and black flag where you hold this short stubby blade from your wrist like, what???

In AC1 you can clearly see how intimidating the blade looks. Even while holding the attack button just walking around flaunting your hidden blade felt so badass to me. It’s as if I can feel the steel between my fingers and how sharp the weapon is. It’s a small detail but small details like that make a huge impact.

AC1 is not AC game anymore. It's something from the other world, something special.

Personally i love the fact that the game takes itself seriously. I hate the modern forced quirkiness seen almost everywhere.

Ac 1 stealth is better than AC2 in my opinion

Yes AC2 has cover assassinations but they were borderline useless even in Side missions (Assassination contracts) and guard NPC walk cycles were too short. For example, guards literacy just walk around in circles like a caged animal in a zoo
It looks so silly and it breaks the immersion

In AC 1 guards have a longer walk cycle and it's very life-like, when they find a dead body they actively look for the killer. It's made you leave the area without being suspicious.
In AC 2 when you get spotted you can run in a straight line and when you run over the yellow circle in the mini-map the guards stop pursuing you immediately. So there is no reason to break the line of sight and use the blend spots to hide.

In AC 1 guards will chase you for long distances, and the most reliable way to escape is by breaking the line of sight of the guards and using one of the blending spots (hay stacks, benches, etc)
AC 1 's incredible level design of the cities makes it easier to manipulate the guard NPC, which makes AC1 more stealthy than AC 2 even without cover assassinations and factions (thieves, courtesans & mercenaries)

(I don't hate AC 2 btw, it's one of my favorite games of all time. But I never liked its stealth imo)

The trick to stealth in AC1 was the throwing knives… master them and the game becomes something else

Ac 1 is a great game it has a great story great characters and also great Parkour + combat

this game was actually meant to be played with no HUD. the HUD was a last minute choice.

Ac 1,Revelations and Unity have the best ambiance of the franchise

Wish they had improved this game concepts in other ways. Being able to interrogate like in Phantom Pain. Change outfits to blend with people. If assassin's Creed was like breath of the wild but focused in stealthy interactions would be so awesome... Sigh

Funny everyone hates the first assassin's Creed but yet it's the only one that did not bug and break would be nice to play my games without having to have internet or a million updates just re release this game it's the only one iv played and not need an update
