I've just watched the new movie about Florence Foster Jenkins this afternoon, with Meryl Streep in the lead role. I didn't know about Tryphosa Bates Batcheller. Thanks for introducing me to her. I'll only have to listen to this and FFJ and I'll never feel nervous about singing in public again!

There are certainly magical moments in this performance when a few individual pitches are accidently approximated.

I must say that her trills are excellently well executed - just on totally the wrong keys!

Can you imagine "Tryphosa Bates-Batcheller" and "Florence Foster Jenkins" singing a duet ? lol

Actually she does have a presentable(ish) trill.
