Surprise Winner? Korg EK-50 vs Yamaha PSR-EW410 vs Casio CT-X5000 | Yamaha PSR-E463

I have been seen several reviews about this 3 keyboards, and I can say without a doubt: KORG ek 50

Very nice video..which takes us to think deeply when buying a keyboard.
I think the sound quality should be targeted first (good music needs good sounds) because it is impossible these days to work with music without using computers I mean DAW software.. Maybe the 3above keyboards are provided with some kind of DAW already.
That was the main reason that made Yamaha omitted the 16 tracks sequencer from the flagship "montage" synthesizer and added more sound quality capabilities.
We can't make good music without using good sounds.
We should go after the sound quality in the first place because all of the other features can be achieved using computer DAW.
That was my personal opinion.

Well....no. Bought the Korg ech-50 and my old Roland was better - easier to navigate too. Piano is way too bright and the elec pianos sound like shit. Organs? Shit. Don't care about layered sounds - mostly turn them off. Also no sound banks so I can't replace all the crap that comes pre-loaded. I shoulda stuck with Roland - was totally satisfied with my old beater until the plastic buttons fell apart. Other keyboard is a Nord so maybe I am biased.

Very surprised to see Yamaha lose so bad to Casio

Hi Jeremy, I got a question that prolly been asked many many times. I have a 7yrs old daughter with 20+ piano lessons, and me and wife is debating on her first piano choice: a $1K electric or a $3K acoustic. My wife prefers acoustic, while I prefer the electric. My concern's if my daughter is over her hype as I never seen her partice at home, while my wife thinks the 3K acoustic can be sell as 2nd hand even in that case (while electric has no resell value).

Are there any production keyboards with a sampling function/sequencer like the EPS or Ensoniq ASR? It’s very hard navigating what does and what doesn’t. This video was very helpful

Sound wise yamaha is unbeatable. Casio sounds like a toy, especially in piano sound

I've got a question - does the EW-425 change anything here?

I'm looking to get a keyboard for gigging, it will be something I use at gigs 2-4x per week, and these keyboards (the EW-425 instead of the 463) seem to be where my budget is at the moment.

Does the EW-425 step ahead of the others for people that gig?
I'm already a very busy solo acoustic performer but want to bring a full-band experience to my venues with an arranger keyboard, instead of backing tracks etc because I feel like they're too cheesy and limiting.

My next keyboard will be the Korg Ek-50.. I'm particular with keybeds ..i owned a ctx 3000 which is comparable to 5000...There keybeds are quite squeeky and sometimes noisy..But again, it is still a beast... Now it is time to purchase and discover other brands

Hi Jeremy, great video and very nicely explained. I am a bass player , guitarist and play a little saxophone and would like to buy a reasonably priced keyboard for me and my daughter. My first choice now would be the Yamaha PSR-EW425 as this also supports 432Hz concert pitch. Can A=432Hz also be set on the Korg EK-50L?
I work a lot with horns in my soul band, therefore, which of the two keyboards has the best saxophone and trumpet sounds?

Will Korg be better in these parameters?
-only default piano sound (with external receiver and floorstanding speakers)
-physical feel from the keys when playing
