If you are TRULY interested in the art/hobby please do not take this guys advice. What he’s doing is literally ONLY applicable to the type of plant he has, in the video. The plant in the video is a ficus. No other bonsai tree can’t be kept inside or cared for, in this way.

Internet fools way to bonsai, subscribe to kill your plants… really don’t click on this dude no more… check out Nigel Saunders or bonsai Mirai… this is a wack way to even Generalize away too prune and/or water a ficus, even worse for other plants… every plant is pretty different… research goes a long way🧏🧐🤔🌲🌳🌴🪴

I would definitely not prune every month. Maybe once a year or something. Maybe that’s just me, but I feel it needs time to show you what you can work with.

Don't do that. Don't cut your bonsai every month. At max twice a year. Develop the tree. Develop branches and a canopy. There is no such thing as an indoor bonsai. All trees need natural sun. Bring tropicals outdoor in the late spring until early autumn.

The misting is a bit of a myth, its the tree has good roots then it gets vast majority of it's water from the roots, misting it will do nothing other than give your house damp issues

Yeah, you also need bonsai soil (preferably lava rock ,pumice & akadama soil mix or even Turface clay soil mix if you wanna go to cheaper route ,you- know the stuff usually used as cat litter but never use cat litter products look up the name as shown call turface because that tree not gonna work in regular dirt 😂 it could cause root rot in the future if you don’t use this type of method for the overall health of the tree….🌴
