It's great when the bad guys get punished.

I'd presumed this law on 'reasonable chastisement' for parents to children was from Dickens time or before. I had no idea it was still in force by the xxth century's 90s, when this episode was written and broadcast. Has it been abolished yet???? Just incredible to think that any lawyer could use it to defend any abusive parent for whatever reason!!!!!!
