I only have one complaint. Is that I got anxiety just listening to the first 5 min of this video. Your tone is very overwhelming. Maybe it’s just me.

Hi Liz, I am just starting Adv Patho and I am having problems with listening to it. It keeps saying I need to download the apple podcast and I cannot do that. Any other suggestions?

Watching this now in 2022 in my second year of FNP school. And I feel DUMB. like I know literally nothing and forgot everything about the human body. They aren’t joking when they call it advanced and they act like we know all of it already yet…it’s advanced and more than we needed to know before. This video was extremely helpful. I’m not dumb. I’m just panicking and overwhelmed.

My A&P Professor who’s a doctor said this was the hardest class he’s ever had. Dropped it this semester while taking Chem. Taking it next spring ;-;

When I did patho in nursing school I had a house full of little kids I could teach concepts to…. Now all I have left are my two little guys and if I can’t make it about dinosaurs or computer programming they simply aren’t interested. Patho starts Sunday, new job as a nurse educator starts Monday. No stress, right? 😂

I've been in my program for one week and I'm totally overwhelmed. Trying to find the podcast with Dr. C and it's been very difficult to retrieve. Thank you for all the helpful tips, though. They really do make a difference!

I am trying to download the doc c pathophysiology 3020 podcast and not having any success. Does anyone have the recordings they can share.

Personally, I loved this video! I'm just in need of some advice. I've been studying since the first day for the past 3 weeks and the test is in 7 days I still feel all over the place and can't find my rhythm and groove. My class is online, we don't have assigned readings but she posts PowerPoint that are really disorganized and overwhelming. They have objectives but I haven't really looked at those, I've been going off of the study guide that the professor provides and that is also confusing and disorganized. What advice do you offer to those who have learned the information and are trying to figure out how to save that information in their head of 6 chapters of knowledge in a short amount of time?

If this doesn't make any sense, it's because this was my study break and I can't think properly :)

I love that you reference Dr. C. I had the privilege of being in his classes at the College of St. Scholastica, and he was awesome—not at all the guy you might visualize him to be. He was a Harley-riding, three-time Hole-in-One golfer, long-haired, and bearded guy from the '60s. And he was the Smartest professor I ever had. He made learning Patho easy! I'm glad to know he has had such a wide reach. I hope others look him up; they won't regret it.

I feel like after taking anatomy and physio, patho is more fun because you actually get into the meat and potatoes of what matters as a nurse (sickness).
