I feel like Life and Death would’ve been perfect for bringing back death by fright from TS2.

So basically, as I suspected, most of the "good" powers are the opposite of the "evil" powers -- draining another Sim's needs to boost yours versus draining yours to boost theirs. Which is thematically appropriate, I suppose. But yeah, that "instant fix/instant repair" power is definitely a little buggy with Eco Lifestyle -- the one time you wish an interaction DIDN'T have cross-pack compatibility! (The Eco upgrades really should have gotten their own category, I think.)

I wonder will these ghosts skills still be around when revive as living SIM? Cause I want that sleep, food，and hygiene needs lock 😂

The funny thing I find about the neutral abilities is that 2 of them is actually part of the evil ghost powers while and two of the neutral ghost abilities are closer to the good ghost powers while 1 is neutral neutral.
The most unusual bit about the ghost ability tree is neither partially glitchy like the spellcaster ability tree, nor is it as particular about selection in what you govern your ghost to be like as it is with the Werewolf ability tree for your werewolf nor the Vampire ability and negative trees for your vampire.
A ghost sim could use the combined powers of needs drain(draining hunger need is preferable) and siphon life essence a few times until the effects will eventually kill off the ghost's victim[Warning!: doing this can be a bit as boring as much as it would be a bit fun for the player and I mean the player, not the sim the player plays].
The best thing about having ghost powers is that if your ghost was a Spellcaster hybrid ghost with the additional experience of the Batu'u scoundrel and the first order paths from the Star Wars vacation and aspirations then that ghost would be the perfect swiss army knife of the villain path in the secret agent career.
About the power tattoos: You can activate both the evil and the good at the same time.

Do the occult ghosts have their occult skill tree or their ghost mastery skill tree? Vampire ghosts, werewolf ghosts, spellcaster ghosts etc.

The "fire toilet" isn't an issue if you have a beetle farm. it even says this in the upgrade description.

Can a live sim perform ghost powers? It can gain them from an out of body experience, but can it use these abilities while alive afterwards?

"Small scared Moodlet"? I'm not sure I'd call +3 "small". That's pretty potent. Few Moodlets go higher than that, and anything over +4 is both rare and intense.

Kind of sad we don't have ghost specific aspirations

Conjuror is pretty handy for teen sims, since you can clean up your own summoned messes for progress towards the Civic Responsibility scout badge, and then take out the trash for progress towards Good Deeds. Some of the other evil ghost powers are handy for putting sims in a bad mood so you can build empathy value, too.

Instant Upgrade (Reward Trait) and Instant Upgrade (Ghost Mastery) do not share a cooldown.

Can an ocult sim (like a vampire, who has similar skill tree) use ghost powers as well as the ovult powers?

The generator from Eco Lifestyle gets both increased productivity and the Eco Filter if you use the power to upgrade it using your ghostly powers. Normally the game lets you pick one or the other.

I really wish they’d do a perk tree refresh of all The other occults that didn’t get it. Aliens, mermaids, heck even plant sims would be great if we could customize them all.

How much does the draining needs take away from a sim? Can I have an evil ghost kill other sims?

This plus for rent, but the ghost lives in the loft or basement, give them the corrupt dream power etc. And be able to actually haunt whoever lives there...🤔

That’s a fun little latin reference that the evil and good are aligned with left and right respectively on the powers screen and the sims’ arms.

Left is considered inauspicious, unlucky, and nowadays malicious and “sinister” is the root word for “left”. While Right is lucky, auspicious, and generally good with its latin root word being “dexter”.

There are some other cultures that also regard left and right as evil/unclean and good/clean, but I’m not as familiar with those and this comment is already getting lengthy.

Only problem i have with all occult sims is that all the powers are basically the same just revamped a little
