Shazam, 3D camera tracking, rotoscope and use a model made from photogrammetry of the set to use as image replacement
ОтветитьThat was awesome
ОтветитьThe best filmmaker of his generation
ОтветитьWas Billy's mum's change in hat and glove colour at the fun fair a continuity error or part if the story telling? I always assumes the former but now suspect the latter.
ОтветитьI really love that you make these videos still, thank you for sharing this with us
ОтветитьThis video almost came out on my birthday! Thanks for the lesson.
ОтветитьYou'd be good at Pitch Meetings.
ОтветитьOr just don't care about the details like everyone else nowadays.
ОтветитьAll these examples help us be easier on ourselves when we get in these situations, and realise it happens all the time. Although, for me, those details don't matter at all. What bothers me in movies is more serious things, like when pivotal plot points don't make sense or are forced for plot's sake, or when character motivations are illogical or absent.
Thank you!🍀
I had to shoot a pickup shot of the actor taking his shirt off, leaving it on the ground and running out of the gate, because he was already shot shirtless in the next scene, but had a shirt on in the scene just before it. But it made sense given his character and the setting.
ОтветитьThis manlet really deleted any comments opposing him, didn't he? What a loser
ОтветитьThanks for this vid!
ОтветитьHuh, this was a fascinating watch. Thanks for posting this!
ОтветитьThis was so cool. Thanks for taking the time to make it
ОтветитьHow working with the mountain of game of thrones was like carrying a Rock
ponysmasher who looks similar to the director from Shazam 2, but is not the same.
This Is Us?
ОтветитьJust commenting to say I'm rewatching this 2.5 years later. Still loving it and fingers crossed for a follow up for Shazam 2. The Challenge of Making a Sequel?
ОтветитьThat's the power of editing!
ОтветитьThank you so much for directing one of my favourite superhero movies!
ОтветитьThat was cool.
ОтветитьShout out to Redlettermedia for sending me here. These are the types of videos I crave. <3
ОтветитьAll according to plan 🥴
ОтветитьI love seeing stuff like this.
ОтветитьBrilliant man, brilliant
ОтветитьCould you tell us how you got from your short movies directing your first feature?
ОтветитьThat is one of my favorite episodes. Because you are showing us the small littles details that actually are harder to figure out being a director, instead of huge scenes where you work with a bunch of people to figure a problem out.
ОтветитьThis is like... pinnacle video essay. No one can top it. How can you speculate when the director is just telling you what he meant.
ОтветитьSó your telling me that Darla's arc was unintentional? Brilliant
ОтветитьNow you are making me doubt my analysis of movies and TV shows. 😂❤
ОтветитьI didnt know u were swedish until i saw Rövpåhitte dragspel lmao
ОтветитьAs someone who works in architecture and the building industry I can 100% tell you the same issues happen with buildings. No matter how perfect your blueprints or drawings are to build it there will be hundreds of things that were probably built in a different way than planed just because buildings are complicated have dozens to hundreds of people working on them and it’s impossible to make a perfect building.
ОтветитьThis is the best DC movie in my opinion. Hyped for Shazam Fury of the Gods!
Ответитьthe trick is, it doesn't matter if it was done on purpose or not. All that matters is the greater context in culture and effect it has on the audience
Ответить😅👍 Simply love your channel 😊👌
ОтветитьCan we just talk about how Shazam's movie director goes by "ponysmasher"?
ОтветитьCan we just talk about how Shazam's movie director goes by "ponysmasher"?
ОтветитьMaybe it’s bc I was taught on death of the author, but tbh to me it doesn’t really matter whether a decision was preplanned or spur of the moment when it comes to looking at the final product. I consider it kind of like fate, y’know? Like yeah it’s fun to know the bts stuff, but whatever happens has happened and there’s nothing we can do to change it now, it doesn’t matter.
ОтветитьIt took me a while to realize that "oh shit this is literally shazam's director"
ОтветитьAbout overly analytical essays, its interesting to know that we use conclusions to create reasonings. Explanations are there to help us understand why we believe something to be true rather than why its true at all. Like a director could use the color orange because they like orange, but because its in the movie at all, people come to the conclusion that it must work in a cohesive manner even though it could just be your mind finding patterns.
ОтветитьClothes...shmothz..Leave those bizzare problems to the director.. let him suffer)) BTW why cant you rewrite the script..a bit? for Example - not filming in ALASKA!
ОтветитьI love the open disdain filmmakers have for cinema sins. kong: Skull Island opened my eyes to how awful that chennel was
ОтветитьДа сложно понти що план фильм а що случайности
Ответить👍
ОтветитьTrash taste bought me here
ОтветитьРежисер робе видео исе на свийжи фильм не ожидав що таке побчу юутбе
