He talks about Luke Humphreys being special but this man here is something special, he's been around for so long, and he's still competing against the very best but remains humble and respective to his opponents, i will always be a James Wade fan.

I'd love to see James Wade back at the pointy end of the field on a regular basis. He's had his struggles and at times I feel he's been written off too quickly.

I don't think anyone in darts underrates luke humphries. Everyone knows how he has dominated the last year or so. Like mvg, he took a few years on the tour for it all to click. If either had been 16 and getting to the world final and winning the premier league at their first go then i'm sure the hype would have been the same. Can't blame the media for recognising this as a unique and exceptional achievement
