Where to Stay in SEATTLE 2025 | 10 Best Areas to Stay

Having spent two weeks in Seattle at Christmas time, at first I wished I had seen this video before we went. We stayed right near the borders of Queen Anne, South Lake Union and Belltown and I walked (more than 5 miles most days, and once almost 15 miles when I walked to the National Nordic Museum in Ballard). I noticed during the video that various pictures of some areas were featured when talking about other areas. I also noticed that features were identified as being in more than one neighborhood (Is the Space Needle really Downtown? I think it is closer to Lowertown, so maybe that was an honest mistake?) I found Seattle easy to walk around, and the people quite friendly. Bring a good raincoat that you are sure is waterproof. Seattle in December has moderate temperatures and gets an average of 6 inches of rain, and It rained every day. Three days were partly sunny.
