Now France is in chaos! Devastating Cyclone Garance drowned Reunion in no time

Cyclone Garance hit the French Indian Ocean with gusts of up to 234 km/h (145 mph). On social media, videos show streets completely flooded with sometimes torrents of water rushing down the slopes, particularly in Saint-Denis and Saint-André (east of Reunion Island). Other videos show cars being swept away.

A historic flood, says the mayor of Saint-Denis Ericka Bareigts, which is causing significant flooding in several neighborhoods of the city, such as Butor, La Providence, les Camélias, La Source, and many other neighborhoods. The tropical cyclone left more than 180,000 homes without power and 170,000 without running water after making landfall on Friday morning.
