I planted over 75 lilacs around my fence line for privacy. the problem is some are sitting where a lot of ash and scrape metal was dug up while planting, these seem to be stunted compared to the rest of the bushes. Is there anything you could suggest to help the growth? All started at around 2ft tall most are now well over 6ft but for the group i mention they are between 3 and 4ft. I'm considering manure but I don't know if it will help. Any suggestions will be helpful thanks for your time.
ОтветитьI just planted my very first lilac (preston) and I did everything you said about where to plant and watering etc. I needed some good advice on pruning and I got it here from you. Thank you very much!
ОтветитьMy lilac is only on drippers...and it is full of blooms
ОтветитьIve a question, I have 2 lilac trees in my back garden that are at least 60 years of age and are very large but not much lilac appears anymore, anything I should do to care for it?
ОтветитьI have a small lilac tree when should i prune it.
ОтветитьI hate them! The previous people planted them all over my property. Chopping them down does nothing. I even burned the lell out of the stump of one I cut down and it started growing again right away. They grow from the roots too. We'll see how the like it when I mix up a strong batch of roundup and gas.
Ответитьif I put something over my tree to protect it from the on coming rain. ,will I kill my lilacs?
ОтветитьThe BEST smelling plants 🥰
ОтветитьDid you know you can eat lilac?
ОтветитьMy lilac tree split in half and fell down the other half is up it's over 20tf much bigger than my house it's lining on the fence the branches are on someone garage I'm getting it all removed if I don't it will fall on 4 different properties including mine it's a beautiful tree has lots of wildlife on it but the giant has fallen and soon the other half will this all happen on a very very windy Friday in the UK ( England ) the neighbours heard it split I didn't but they say they did but right now the weather is much calmer the tree just needed to survive one day the left half did sadly not the right the tree was here in -1950 the neighbour opposite to me was here in 1970 but then the tree was just a small plant in huge field I was in the house in 2015 to the current year sad to see it disappear next week it's Sunday now I did take a video of it on that day if you people want to see bye!
