I have a question, the skill tree it's updated? If yes, why u didn't change the start of the skill tree to energy shield from minions damage?

once again i didnt follow the captains build and i struggled. hes the captain for a reason, someday ill learn.

Hello, please tell me, modifier damage increase from spell and damage increase from chaos are somehow different and why wands with a modifier for damage by chaos are more expensive? I'm trying to understand spell damage and chaos damage are the same thing?

Maybe a dumb question, but sometimes i find it hard to hit with contagion, before mob dies, so cast contagion first, and the essence drain, is there any downside of this ?

How do you manage your mana?
More than half my mana is depleted after casting Contagion + Effigy.
Do I need to revert to using a lower skill gem (i.e.; lvl 17)?
My mana regen is quite alright, way above average I would say.
Its extremely fun to melt things, but constantly going OOM is a big issue especially when I'm surrounded by mobs.

Hey, you can actually get one more skillpoint out of your tree by using the last weaponset skillpoint.
Where you start the Impending Doom branch from your jewel socket you can path from the left, connecting it to your other second weapon points instead. That way you use one more second weapon point which allows you to change another damage note into a primary weapon point too.

does it matter where you socket your tacati soulcores and greater iron? say having them on your chest pieces vs helmet for example.

I guess I just took my lich way off meta i’m running with three minion clerics to sacrifice and also heal my totem. The sacrifice boost spell damage by almost 75%. It doesn’t last very long, but it doesn’t have to with contagion. It just has to hit while it’s active to continue the damage I went with a unique armor that mana region counts energy shield region I just find it extremely comfortable.

Gambleshot instead of chain? Tried that?

why no derange support gem for essence drain? its not too hard to achieve 400+ intelligence

Ignite with the totem? Thought it was just chaos dots

Why swap off mind over matter? Is it not viable to keep using it?

Why intense agony? First hit doesnt work when everything already gets dot damage

What I really dislike is swapping gems - it's just clunky. Most builds do it, but man it just feels bad.

hey, I have a slight conundrum playing a LICH under ED. Namely, under ED I can give a support INTENSE AGONY, that deals more damage when ED to an opponent when he has FULL LIFE. What if I combine this with contagion? If it will flip to the opponent, which will deal the first damage? Contagion and Intense Agony won't work because the opponent won't have FULL HP then, or will it be that ED will deal damage first and INtense Agony will work? Please advise :)

The Icon for Dispair disapears when they get into range of the Blasphamy. Does that mean the curse is replaced by the Blasphemy one?

Bit confused, by level 35 you have 49 skill points, but im level 34 and have only got 42 just getting into act 3. Are you already thru the campaign by 35? The passive tree somehow shows you to have Mind over Matter, Dark Entries, Void, Potent Inc, and Arcane Blossom. But however ive tried looking at it theres no way id be able to reach every node by next level, even if i got the +4 in all of Act 3

I think i dont get it. We use despair on weapon set 2 we cast and the we swap to weapon set 1 to cast essence drain but we use blasphemy with temporal chains and we cant get 2 curse. Temp chains doesnt remove our despair? because icon on boses dissapears?

do you still have the weighted sums copy and paste somewhere? It's not in the guide anymore :(

Hi Captin, thanks for full guide! I've been playing ED since it first released in PoE1, it is sooo nice to have it back in PoE2 in shape as it were in glory days of Legion League... However, do you consider fitting Waveshaper chest into the build, what do you think? Its cold/fire res, up to 400+ ES with rune, spirit, but moreover - the uniq modifiers of mana regen to ES recharge and %max mana as Armour seems nuts... Additional mana regen would also benefit for usage of Zenith support. Of course, this would be a temporary chest before fat ES one. Any comments to that? Thanks! <3

hey, can someone explain how you guys use blink and convalescence? I can only use them after I'm doing a weapon swap and as they both are kind of a panic button I always try to use them with the wrong weapon. Skill issue, I guess 😑

I am noticing that if I am running a second weapon set, I drop sigil of power and then go back to essence drain all my stats from wand and focus dissappear. Any idea how to avoid this?

what abilites do i use from 1 to 6 then? :p
