The movie is Ok but Beyonce look is too Barbie in my opinion. Etta James was a great singer but even in her youth she was always a little plus size and that's fine. Here Beyonce is just being Beyonce without any effort to a real cararcterization.

I saw Etta in 89 or 90 at a Benson Hedges Blues Fest in Costa Mesa CA. I was 18 and she was very overweight and very old. Still fell in love. She actually made me feel funny if you know what I mean. Ha!😂
