Yes daddy!
ОтветитьLooks good ash
ОтветитьMint ep
ОтветитьThank you for informative content.
ОтветитьDid you have fun swimming for your parts of the plasma table.
Need to add a tab to hold them 😂😂😂
Need a relocation adaptor for the oil filter.
Ответитьliked this channel better when it was you making stuff in your garage. Now it seems to be ads for companies that make stuff.
ОтветитьSolid progress
ОтветитьI was wondering why you didn't go for a 4v v8 as well then no need for adaptor?
ОтветитьHuge mike peak. Split audio from video, split L and R, crush the peaks and put it back in.
ОтветитьGreat info.
Excellent build.
Geez there’s some extra cost mounting up the 8 speed tranny.
It’s quite interesting though cause I got tired of refuelling my barra lol
Ash is fkn awesome in front of the camera. Very informative!
ОтветитьGreat job boys, well done. Seeya Rob
ОтветитьAsh is such a cool bloke, awesome video.
Funny how the turbo barra intake manifold looks suspiciously like the manifold used on the first ohc 4L falcon motors
Can I ask who is signing off the engineering for registration??
For my latest build, the engineer wants either, factory engine/trans mounts from the chassis or the engine/trans combo, he doesn't like my captive mounts, that are essentially the same as yours.
Otherwise, another awesome build, that's coming from a boosted LS or 3JZ(turbo 1FZ) guy.
Great episode. Easy to follow along with. Showing how to make parts and why you need to design your own. I am looking forward to the next build updates.
ОтветитьEntertainment and education all in one video…. crushing it.
ОтветитьA 80 series chassis doing more than 140km😂. Great work but I would be more for the reliability availability and replacing of standard parts
Each to their own 💪
Good work
ОтветитьThe moment I seen the 8 Speed AU crew auto swapping a 79 series with a BMW ZF 8HP70X grabbed a low K box for my 80 and tucked it away in the corner of the man cave for one day, The patrol trans adapter from Fusion Fab looks awesome, hope they have one for Toyota HF1/2A some day soon.
ОтветитьShowing how much work and thought goes into custom vehicles love watching your designs come to life
Ответитьpoetry in motion! love the work you guys do, and it's so rad to be all Australian made
Ответитьthe gearbox crossmember is a crossmember and should be fixed to the chassis without bushings to tie the two frame rails together solidly. the bushings should be between the gearbox and crossmember only.
the only way to do it properly the way you have it now is to add an additional fixed crossmember or heavy skidplate. but if the gearbox crossmember was solid mounted a skidplate could've been attached straight to that.
Love the 8hp info gearing up to do the swap in my gu Ute
Ответить😮😊
ОтветитьIs this the exact same transmission that would be behind a Volkswagen Amarok?
ОтветитьBrilliant content. I love the level of skills you fellas have.
I met Ash from Fusion fab when I was over from the Uk for a few parts for my M57n2/ 8hp into mt series 4 patrol.
Another propper craftsman.
I was well impressed with his workshop and his really helpful attitude definitely recommend.
What an episode mate. Covered a great amount of the processes taken. Plenty of details. Kept it interesting and informative. So good.
ОтветитьI hope we see George at Ngkala Rocks one day soon with this weapon!
ОтветитьGreat vid, fantastic to see Aussie design, prototyping and fabrication at work.
ОтветитьWhat’s the ZF8 speed out of? BMW?
ОтветитьAnother great video Richard. Thnx man! I found another great YT fabricator down your way (all hail the algorithm!) Khaos Designs. Not sure if you’ve heard of them. Just wanted to give them a shout out.
ОтветитьAnother great video Rich, keen to see how the 8 speed drives 👌
Ответить67mm turbo makes 1000hp?
Ответитьyou aint the first to this, it is already done in the Republic of Georgia in far east Europe.
ОтветитьMost likely the best Toyota ever. 😇
ОтветитьI do wonder witch back end pattern is on the BARRA..... is it Ford or is it something else?
Did he say that the BMW 6 speed was on the engine and the 8 speed was with a different pattern and that`s why they made the aluminium ring to put the gearbox and the BARRA together.
Awesome mate.
ОтветитьHello guys, please, could you tell me wich SCANNER 3D did you used to scan
ОтветитьAwesome design and manufacture, i'll be sure to watch along on this build
ОтветитьI liked to see the n57 engine (it’s a great engine if you fix the common issues)
ОтветитьI've never undetstood how the power of ANY internal combustion engine is rated in KW... I've always understood watts relate to ELECTRICAL circuits... NOT mechanical "power." What am I missing?
ОтветитьSo good! 🔥❤️🍿
ОтветитьI don't think gearbox mounts is a good idea to have wider than engine mount's , g-box mount's should be at least the same or narrower , why the gearbox is doing the job of stopping the twis of the engine ,, but who am i to say I'm not a engineer
ОтветитьWhat i want to know, is how it handles on those bush tracks doing 348km/h. 🤔🤣🤣🤣
ОтветитьI ran water meth for a while. On a daily driver though it was a pain.
ОтветитьExcellent episode Richard, entertaining, informative and great to see Australian engineering being utilized.
