boss I have dell optiplex 7020 ssf running with intelcore i5-with 4590 cpu and the speed of 3.3ghz Can I upgrade this one to intelcore i7-4790 3.6ghz speed?

Hi, I am dealing with an really old pc it's a Lenovo ThinkCentre M70e. I want to upgrade it for light gaming. I don t know much about pcs so please help me. Would a 1050ti or a normal 1050 work on my m70e? I want to put an 1050ti/1050, a Intel Q9650 CPU, 8gb of ram. You can install an mSATA drive too ... Which gives you the space to install 2 2.5inch drives, one you'll need a HDD caddy for (sits in the DVD drive bay). Maybe one mSATA, one SSD and a bigger HDD for backup and long term storage) archiving.

Put the same CPU in mine - added a notable gearshift to the speed.

I was thinking about 4790 but the TDP is 80+ ... while *S is 65 W... I believe the native cooling system and the form factor itself both tailored for 65W, not full-tower CPU...
how good is the i7-4790S in your opinion ?

and also may I ask, how good is 200W power supply ? doesnt it make i7-4790S weaker then it should be ?

Found one in the trash. Plug it into a monitor and ran Revio 10 from a USB without a problem. Amazing fast for an old PC.

Normally these units are mounted BEHIND the screen on the screen pillar in a special steel sleeve.

I would have cleaned the CPU fan/cooler with compressed air or a vacuum cleaner as well, now that you had it on the table.

I have this computer and I got error so I was unable to boot it up into the hard drive so I opened it and took the tray out to check if cables were lose but there was no issue and I did my best to put the tray back in but now I can't close it again with the cover on? how do I close it?
