Jayce's timing is really bad. Previously, he noted the Arcane's bad influence on the world. As could be seen with the tree in the lower city. On the one hand, he seems to be right, on the other hand, Viktor used the skills to help people. But as already mentioned by the doctor, it was only a matter of time before Viktor died. And with Viktor, everyone he helped. So if Viktor and his "patients" would come to an end at some point anyway and the good also brought bad with it, is it worth condemning Jayce? As shit as the result is, maybe the fault lies in Viktor's help, which increased the losses after his death with each additional person. From this point of view, Vander's prerequisites for being with his family were perhaps better without Viktor's influence. Only because of this did he lose himself completely and had to die.
