OG dragon ball fights are so layered
ОтветитьWe had the chance of a rematch in the boujack movie but the went for comedy
ОтветитьDragon ball used to have actual martial arts and strategy. Now its a bunch of flashy lights.
ОтветитьThis fight is why I'm a lifelong Krillin fan, and why I'm so disappointed in some of his later more overtly comedic fight performances, most insultingly in Bojack unbound, and when the game goes so far beyond him he can't participate anymore, like during Buu. He's never, ever going to be the one who saves the day, but every time, he can throw a greater fighter for a loop and surprise everybody with his tenacity and verve. It's so consistent, between Nappa, who he could have killed with Destructo Disk if he had been lucky, Dodoria and 2nd form Frieza, who he consistently outmaneuvers, and even base form Cell in that one filler episode. He's just so much more interesting to watch barely survive than it is to watch Goku effortlessly pick apart the Ginyu squad, or post-Super Saiyan vs Frieza grandstanding. He and Piccolo are always the most interesting fighters to watch, bar none, IMHO, so to see them fight each other here is so rewarding. I would have loved to see a Piccolo Vs Krillin rematch from around the time of the Saiyan saga, where they're undoubtably closer to each other in power than they were during this tournament.
ОтветитьKrillin was him during that fight, he may take an L, but Krillin actually gave Piccolo a hard time to finish the fight quickly. Not only that but, Krillin uses his IQ, and Brains more than his strength to face off an dangerous opponent
ОтветитьIf you think about it, both fighters went in certain of two things: Piccolo was going to win, and Goku is stronger than Krillin.
Every blow Krillin landed, every time he caught Piccolo off guard, every drop of sweat this little monk forced out of the reborn Demon King served as a testament for one simple fact. However hard Piccolo had the fight against Krillin, Goku was guaranteed to be much much tougher.
I like how for both goku and krillin's fights against piccolo, they didn't fly until absolutely necessary. ik it's unlikely but I kinda like to think goku got the idea of surprising piccolo w/ flight from watching krillin here. throughout his fight w/ goku, piccolo was prolly suspecting he could fly but when he fired that feet kamehameha, thought "ok I guess he can't", so goku was still able to rlly surprise him in the end
ОтветитьPiccolo added the bait that krillin did to him to his bag, he did something similar when goku was following him to the air and piccolo caught him with a ki blast volley
ОтветитьI have always liked the underdog. That is why I always liked krillin.
ОтветитьKrillin was the man at one point.
ОтветитьDragonball is better than Z.
ОтветитьI've always loved the tournament-boss arc-tournament structure of OG DB. I loved seeing the announcer back in the Buu saga but it's a shame we didnt get any real tournament arcs in Z. The only real missed opportunity. The announcer has to be my favorite non-combatant, the man lives the job and loves every minute.
ОтветитьI always thought Piccolo used an image decoy technique of some sort following Krillin and baiting him into using the Kamehameha on the decoy. I just dont think he would actually be able to dodge the Kamehameha in such a close range. Thoughts?
ОтветитьWhy you gotta do Yamcha dirty like that tho... lol
ОтветитьWTF Tien?! That's not sporting at all! You did NOT need to break Yamcha's leg!
ОтветитьLove that this was the beginning of what would later become a brotherhood between krillin and piccolo. The two always onnthr front lines together. I would have loved a rematch between the two with how they were during the saiyan saga. Despite the power level readings and what books say. The way they fought you really couldn't tell the difference between piccolo and krillins power. In some sequences krillin did even better than piccolo against nappa. But a rematch at that time between the two would have been bad ass before piccolos power went much much higher
Ответитьfr u have a really great voice
ОтветитьPiccolo should make more use of his clothes beam during fights.
ОтветитьI love how this is the most confident weve seen krillen
Ответитьmy boy Piccolo was aura farming for his match against Goku, but Krillin gets respect for his performance.
ОтветитьI realized that Picollo had to use some really interesting tactics to not waste too much strenght fighting Krillin.
Stretch arm, the misdirection with the cape, keeping the fight in the air since Picollo doesn't lose Ki when flying.
How did piccolo jr grew so fast and dende stays the same for 20 years.
Also piccolo in every fight further in always on the loosing side.
Krillin has that DAWG in him
ОтветитьWhat did Krillin's mum say when he went to the toilet on his own for the first time? My boy is CLEAN!!! 😍 👶🏻 🚽
ОтветитьPiccolo respected Krillin after this fight, it shows in the fight against Nappa.
ОтветитьThe fact that the last time Krillin faced a green dude he was killed by Piccolo's MINION with one kick to the face.
ОтветитьGoku running up to help his friend is heartwarming.
ОтветитьThe start of a DBZ bromance right there.
ОтветитьTien, Yamcha, and heck even Krillen beed more respect!! Tien fought the GOAT of DBZ, Yamcha literally fought God, and Krillen fought someone rwLky strong as well. All 3 did great
ОтветитьKrillin is the best human fighter. Props to Roshi for training him and Goku as well as coming up with the Kamehameha wave which has been a useful technique throughout.
ОтветитьWhat i love about DragonBall classic is that the fights were mostly hands
ОтветитьKrillin more than anyone else was able to consistently punch well above his weight class. Against piccolo, against vegeta and Nappa, the entire Namek arc. Its not until the androids show up he gets sidelined and even then im willing to bet he could of given androids 19 or 20 some surprises if they fought. But the filler scenes did give krillin some extra material where he succesfully managed to protect a person from imperfect cell until backup could arrive and cell ran off again.
Ответить"Favorite form of brain damage" is a great commentary.
ОтветитьThis is one thing I've always liked about Krillin, he's been punching above his weight class for so long that he's one of the few who can really hold their own against a much stronger opponent. This is definitely one of Krillin's strong points, he knows how to keep his cool when he knows he's out matched.
ОтветитьAkira Toriyama did all the human characters so dirty in Z. I miss Yamcha, Tien and Krillin being elite fighters instead of just punching bags.
ОтветитьI love how Piccolo was surprisingly more reasonable and respectful with Krillin than he was with Goku. Krillin isn’t the one who killed his father, so it only makes sense that Piccolo wouldn’t hold anything against him. It also goes to show that Piccolo isn’t nearly as vicious as he thinks he is.
ОтветитьKrillin is my boy.. People might have forgot but I didn't Little Bro was punching up.. way up.
ОтветитьMy Little dude might PIcollo change his mind made him say "Taking over the earth might not be as easy as I thought." Nice.
ОтветитьWell, I gotta subscribe for this.
ОтветитьPiccolo whips Krillin and Goku back to back lol two Voes they don’t want to face is
Piccolo & Buu.
They let them do as will.
Frieza they practice killing him lol
I wish they whould have made the whole tournament when goku came to earth for one day.
ОтветитьYour editing is solid man.
ОтветитьFasho good scrap
ОтветитьKrillin didn't lose, he made Piccolo legit sweat
ОтветитьAnother amazing Analysis! Love the editing on this, and the way you break down the fights. It's allowing me to see them in a new light. :)
