Why I don't have that function on Studio One 4 Prime

still no sound, watched every video, read every forum, nothin worked and I can see the lights go up when I hit the strings

i don't have that option so studio one is basically garbage. I have studio one artist and i went to that location but those options are not available. I'm going to uninstall it. It uses more memory and storage space than fx studio.

I Spent Two Hours Uninstall Drivers, Device Manager and Changing Bit Rate 41000 and finally came across this video what a relief! I agree he deserves a gold star!

I had same problem but release audio in background was in Options > Audio Setup > Audio Device [Tab] > Release Audio Device in Background instead of Advanced but it works just fine now! Thanks again what a headache!

I just want to know if you have to have the speakers hooked up in order to hear out of the head phones. I have speaker/ headphone checked, same with my sound settings. I can only hear from my computer....pffff

is it normal that playback from studio one dosent show on windows playback only recorder

When you click on studio one in the taskbar
the audio suddenly Disabled.
To fix this problem download FL Studio ASIO and use it instead ASIO4ALL

If you can't find FL Studio ASIO
Download FL Studio trial version and you will get it

For studio one V4 - this has been moved to Options > Audio Setup > Audio Device [Tab] > Release Audio Device in Background.

My problem is the total opposite. I get sound from every other program except studio one. For instance if i import a song to studio one, no sound. But if i import it on audacity it works.

Go to studio one > audio setup> control panel > uncheck exclusive mode > close. Or release audio device in background
