The dude was intoxicated. The height of the sky lift isn’t that high. If he had been sober he could have possibly survived by tactfully falling breaking several bones, maybe paralysis at worse. But because he was a limp noodle he pretty much belly flopped onto the pavement.

There's no evidence of suicide. For all we no he was trying to be clever and thought his grip would last longer than it did. People dont realise their grip can go so quickly once it starts slipping.

I empathise with this guy but if you're going to kill yourself don't do it in a theme park filled with children etc they don't need that trauma.

I'm bothered that the Spokesman for Lagoon never even showed remorse or sorrow for the loss. Only defense of his park! My heart goes out to this young man's loved ones and for whatever lead him to do this, if he "Did it" himself.
