What do you consider being good fuel mileage? My MGF returns on average 6.7 L/100km, which to me is quite good. Also, yes maintenance would be expensive if you have to take the car to a garage for work but in terms of the cost of parts, they are quite reasonable.

I actually prefer the looks of the MGF a more classic look closer to it’s predecessor the MGB.
