Ответитьthe mighty Mosi-oa-Tunya.......great video there!
ОтветитьAmazing trip and beautiful views 😊
ОтветитьМолодцы!!! Очень интересно!!!
ОтветитьI went to Vic Falls in the late eighties. Hardly any tourism- no chopper rides. However, I did fly up the gorge and over the falls in a chopper for free - as part of a recce team for a movie shoot. Was the most incredible experience of my life! So sorry to see this tourism spectacle that you guys experienced.
ОтветитьYou guys are getting more saffa everyday! Lekker Potjie and braai guys! Nothing like it with hard wood coals and a bush view!
ОтветитьDo you lower your air pressure when driving through mud and tough terrain? US national parks are comparable in price unless you buy the annual permit.
ОтветитьI stayed at Sinamatella with my folks in 1993 I was 12 yrs old. It was a stunning well run campsite! The Zimbabwe land grabs and government just destroyed the country and it's economy!
ОтветитьWords can't explain that White Water Rafting on the Zambezi, it's one of the best experienced ever!
ОтветитьThanks this video, not having been to Hwange myself. Really sad about having a coal mine in a game reserve
ОтветитьWent Vic Falls in 1987 when there was none of the tourist dancing performances etc and no entrance gates or fees. Much more peaceful experience then 😂
ОтветитьP.S. Totally appreciate you using our local lingo.. So Correct.. "Braai." Etc etc ..
Cheers 🍻
So you didn't notice the lion next to the windmill 7 minutes into your video?
ОтветитьHey there, really enjoying your trip through Africa. I live in Nairobi Kenya and have done this trip a few times. I work with Intu-Africa 4 x 4 in Nairobi and would be pleased to host you when you are in this area.
ОтветитьLoved it🐆🐆👏👏defender was happy too. No issues
ОтветитьIf I recall the history, during colonial times Wanke coal was the one thing that could not be “claimed” as a mining lease.
ОтветитьHi..amazing adventure. If one day the couple deciding to visit Brasil come and see the brazilian falls in foz do iguacu. And our door will open to your visit. Antonie and Marcia.
ОтветитьSouth africans fall under SADEC and pay U$30
ОтветитьReally loved the first 7 minutes, action and no annoying music!
ОтветитьReally beautiful and stunning! Thank you.
Ответитьlol... that has to be so stressful. Hoping you don't need to winch because of a possible lion in the bush.
Ответитьwhat no bull ?
ОтветитьWe flew over the falls in 2013, by helicopter, it was´nt so expensive back then, and it was less helicopters flying at anyone time. It gave us a much better view of the falls then from the park entrance, which I agree was way overpriced, the same as the visa to enter Zimbabwe. But the tourists come and pay what the locals want so the price increases each year, a real shame as getting there is a huge cost. Happy you enjoyed the trip. keep the videos coming.
ОтветитьSimplement beau, merci 👍
A très vite sur vos routes ❤
Been to Vic falls twice and it’s incredible. It very much depends on the season you visit though, first time we went it was the dry season so quite a lot of the falls were dry, 2nd time it was the rainy season and it truly was incredible. Worth seeing from both sides of the border, I’d argue the Zambian side is actually the better side to view it from and you can see right down the gorge.
ОтветитьBeautiful footage of an amazing trip 😍
Ответитьthanks guys always enjoy your content
ОтветитьWhat a beautiful place, stayed at Sprayview Hotel for a month,
What an epic time that was.
Regards to Bill and Denny Duggan.
Thanks to Hanse Cronje.
Another must see place in Africa that. Has made its cost way to hi . And we were most disappointed by the never ending sounds of the helicopter’s . But still one of Africa’s must see places the history of the area is very interesting . Thanks for bringing use along for the ride ,on this great African adventure . Cheers from Steve Stott in Sutherlin Oregon U.S.A. :) :) 🌍👊🏼🍻👍🏼😁
ОтветитьLooks like you guys had such an incredible time through Zimbabwe and Vic Falls! Sorry to have missed your trip through as we would have loved to have hosted you on one of our sunrise yoga experiences - a welcome relief I'm sure it would have been after that bumpy Hwange - Vic Falls Road! 😂Safe travels on the rest of your adventure!🌍

Was just in Vic Falls - it’s gorgeous. While I agree the entry price was high (and many things were expensive in Vic falls) they do need to maintain the paved trails etc. and it is a major source of income for a country struggling financially. I read that the entry revenue primarily supports the conservation and management of the park, including its natural state, wildlife, and historical sites. A portion of the revenue also goes towards the local community through initiatives like job creation and tourism-related businesses. So if that’s true, I am happy my money is being used in a worthwhile way.
The water was high when I was there the first week of April, so the Zambian end of the falls was also in full force. I walked across the bridge and entered Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park…which had a fee, but I don’t remember the amount (though I don’t think it was extremely expensive)…and enjoyed the views from that side too.
Looks like the water was a bit low. I hope you stopped at the Vic Falls Hotel for lunch on the stoep. It’s also a pity that you didn’t take a trip to Mana Pools, one of the best places to camp in Zimbabwe
ОтветитьGreat :-)
ОтветитьI visited Victoria Falls in 1990, and the river rafting I did there is still one of the best travel days I have ever had. What an amazing adventure! ❤
ОтветитьLeigh you build incredibly 'neatly camp-fires ❤ to both
ОтветитьIt's an unfortunate fact of life that anything that attracts tourists also attracts high prices.
ОтветитьThanks for a great trip report, we need more travellers like you. Sorry about the entry fee to the Falls, and yes the money doesn't go into fixing the road from Bulawayo to Vic Falls. Thanks for a very positive report.
ОтветитьGreat video and route.. We felt privileged doing this route last month though animals sighting were also rare... I think I saw your ka driver at Robins camp camp
ОтветитьFantastic campsite Robins, have to get back there soon. So good to see it in the wet. ❤
ОтветитьStunning Guys, the negative comments about Sinamantela will be from people who saw the camp and its accomodation and resturant in the 70’s and 80’s, but that view is unbreakable ❤❤
ОтветитьMerci à vous pour cette magnifique vidéo 🎉
ОтветитьBeaucoup trop de pub.
ОтветитьMe always like your vlogs. Love from Pakistan.
ОтветитьLike you footage...did not know of the Landy mechanic in Bryanston although we r just around the corner...have u maybe got any feedback on the provent 200 oil catch can u fitted approx 3 months ago...njoy your journey
ОтветитьThose costs are excessive to go into the falls sorry you got ripped off.
