Ответитьi can’t wait to hopefully get back to this park next year now that i’m an enthusiast
ОтветитьWAKE UP BABE NEW COASTERDASH DROP
ОтветитьOmg, wow, I vaguely remember riding Roger Rabbit when I was only 3! Such a chaotic, trippy ride😆 Guardians of the Galaxy Mission Breakout looks amazing, yeah I’d still argue that Tower of Terror is better, but this looks so fun and well themed🦡🪐🚀 Had to skip Tiana’s since I want to go in blind if I definitely am riding the one in Florida, but I can agree that Splash Mountain was another one of my favorite rides at Disney World🐰🦊🐻 I don’t think we ever forget the coasters that turned us into enthusiasts🎢 Happy Thanksgiving, grateful to be part of this community☺️🦃💛
ОтветитьTiana’s Bayou adventure was a good concept, but the overall story was garbage. I wish it was more in tune with the actual movie, and have the villan near the end of the ride. It was a huge downfall in comparison to Splash mountain
ОтветитьOh by faaaaar🤤
ОтветитьGreat video! I can definitely see how this might be someone's favorite park in the world! Looks like a really fun park! I really enjoyed watching this!
ОтветитьBruh, imagine having to retheme an entire area of a park because you rethemed a ride over you not coming forward about a controversy
Never going to accept Tiana's
Video came out great 😆 thanks for documenting such a fun day
ОтветитьMight be a controversial opinion, but I wouldn't ever visit a Disney park.
I grew up during the now problematic era of Disney, and I've irked that so much from some of those movies is still so prevalent.
Even though they've bought IP outside of the brand, it's still not enough.
I'd take Efterling every time.
How do the younger Disney fans feel about characters from song of the south still being around the Disney parks?
ОтветитьAs a student studying theme park design and having a ton of insider info/knowledge on how these attractions are made, I hate Tiana's. There are a lot of reasons for this. Also font get me wrong it is a good ride but its not for me.
1. The use of screens
The biggest thing that made Disney, Disney and universal, universal was disney was very reliant on real sets while universal was reliant on screens. This stereotype has flipped for these companies in the last 15-20 years. Starting with universals harry potter world addition. Tianas has wayyy to many screens that i just think dont make sense. The mama odie screens i think are just a way to not spwnd more money on high quality animatronics along with the screens throughout most of the ride before the drop. After the drop in the finale there are screens behind the bottom floor of the building that have more party guests dancing which i dont agree with for the same reasons as mama odie. The only screens i agree with on this ride are when youre shrunken down and tiana is peeking through the leaves at you. That actually makes sense cause you're not making a massive tiana head animatronic lol.
2. The story/plot.
The story lacks a ton of crucial elements that the classic Disney rides include. As mentioned in the video theres a lack of intensity which is caused by having zero villains/antagonists. I understand not having dr facilier because he died in the movie but some sort of antagonist wpuldve been nice. Also the story is poorly explained. I understood the rides story as youre searching for a band with tiana. But as time went on and i rode the ride in Florida i understand that you are the band theyre looking for? Its confusing cause part of me thinks that either one could work as the story being told but thats a really bad thing for an attraction.
3. The placement of this retheme makes no sense
In Florida Tianas BAYOU adventure is located in frontier land. Yeah you heard that right you can go visit the salt mines in the bayou of Louisiana while 20 ft away you can go on a wild west mine train ride through the red rocks of the south west desert of America. Makes no sense. In Cali the ride is located not in New Orleans Square (the best land in the park) but in Whats now called Bayou Country (RIP Critter Country) so now we have 2 lands that are basically the same thing. Also shall I mention there are mountains in the Louisiana Bayous. I feel that they shouldve redone splash mountain as a different IP or even a new story completely than Princess and the frog. It just makes no sense. Princess and the Frog should've made it to the parks but in it's own ride or at the very least Tianas restaurant only.
4. As someone who heavily appreciates good set design. I do not like the set design for this re theme. It feels like you have to keep your head forward at all times to experience this ride correctly. 90% of the time i would turn my head to the left right or behind me i saw empty space, or lights that i shouldn't see or scaffolding for escape routes that should be behind the sets and are behind the sets on every other ride at the parks. The only thing that i should see that isnt supposed to be part of the actual set design is the exit signs cause thats the law, though i have been on rides where i found smoke detectors, sprinkler systems and co2 alarms. My last point for this god awful rant lol is the bayou is supposed to be very dense. If youve been on pirates in California the scene in the beginning where you're in the bayou is so perfectly done. Yes, I understand that that scene is meant to be on the edge of the bayou and not deep in the wooded areas but its still arguably more immersive and dense than the scenes in Tianas
Anyways thanks for coming to my ted talk the only thing i enjoyed about this ride is the complexity and quality of the animatronics and that its a log flume ride and i love log flumes.
nice to see you back, i think you should do a sfmm vlog soon.
ОтветитьYou’re saying that they spend a lot of money on that ride. Did you count the number of dead areas on that ride. I think you’re in fantasyland.
ОтветитьPersonally I wish they would have spent the money on a new ride and left Splash alone. The screens look sooo bad in the videos of it.
ОтветитьThanks for the review on tianas. I’m a big splash glazer but the retheme is obviously done with class. I agree with the cubs hat guy, of course we miss splash but at least in Anaheim the new ride is objectively an upgrade. I feel like people predetermine their opinion are whiny about Splash Mountain closing in America and being replaced by Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. Splash is still at Tokyo Disney. It is not owned by Disney; the Oriental Land Company licensing the intellectual property. Get a passport, save your money, book a flight.
ОтветитьGreat video. Lucky enough to get on the WDW version earlier this year. Lightning lanes were all gone by the time I landed but virtual queue wasn't too bad (40-50) and it's a nice queue. Great ride and my number two log flume behind Chiapas. Tina's has better theming but I love the ride experience on Chiapas and you get proper soaked.
ОтветитьRelease the Tiana Night POV footage! 😂
ОтветитьIt’s not better than splash mountain but it is a fun ride
ОтветитьI would argue that Disneyland is the best park by far but that it’s marginally better than it was. It’s absolutely incredible at minimum
ОтветитьAnswer to your title: no. not even close.
