Install PhoneGap | Create First PhoneGap Application

In this video, we are going to install PhoneGap on our machine and also create our first PhoneGap app using PhoneGap-CLI and PhoneGap Desktop Application. We are going to run this application in iOS Simulator and Android Device.

This video is part of a series called "PhoneGap - Getting Started". In this series, we shall be exploring basic and intermediate features of PhoneGap.

We will begin with understanding what a hybrid mobile application is and how we can create one using PhoneGap CLI. After creating our app, we will be exploring how we can leverage native features of the phone while concentrating on the functional requirements. We will learn to export and publish our app.

PhoneGap allows you to create hybrid applications using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript. It is built on top of Cordova.
