e-Learning platforms are booming, and online school Think Digital academy is leading the way offering learners both local and international qualifications.

Well they say that education is the passport to the future and over the past few months that maybe one of the sectors hardest hit by the coronavirus pandemic. Parents are worried about their children's futures. It's a dilemma that saw the rise of e- learning organizations like Think Digital that are using their platforms to educate people across the world, and they're changing the teaching game.

The organization’s CEO spoke to ETV news today. Our reporter, Pule Letshwiti, filed this story.

E-learning has become a way of life for parents and pupils desperate to catch up after covid-19 disrupted the school year over the past few months. However it's come under fire. Some say it's not affordable or sustainable. For others it seems to be working just fine.

An international Virtual School called Think Digital is ruffling some feathers. It offers E- learning in both the South African and British curriculums, offering online classes to thousands of pupils from Grade R to Grade 12.
And according to the CEO Janessa Leita, there's more, “So we've got features for the children as well, where it is called the forum. Here they can interact with children around the world in their grade because we currently have children all over the word. We have just registered a Think Digital branch in America and the UAE, we will then be going to New Zealand and Australia.”
The online school says e-learning is much quicker and reliable.

She continues with, “From Grade R to 9, our assessments are self paced so children can take them at any time. They can catch up with online learning. Students tend to work much faster.”

With the continuous rise in Covid-19 infections across the globe, contactless education is becoming a growing trend. And prioritizing the future of pupils and learners at school. The power of technology is becoming inevitable.
