I would LOVE an update to Commander. Be able to traverse the Battlefield in a Drone. Give more accurate supply drops/bomb drops.

I don't want them to abandon 128 players, I just don't want them to sideline 64 players in favor of 128 like they did with 2042. COD adds new high player count game modes all the time but still maintains their bread n butter 6v6 as one of their core experiences. I want BF to do the same.

Leave out the bf4 suppression mechanic plz dice. The visual effect is fine, but reducing my accuracy arbitrarily always felt extremely awful.

Bf 2042 is so broken what comes to gunplay; hitregs are rubberbanding way too much. I have nasa- level rig and fiberconnection. Consoleplayers kill you before even coming visible behind corners. You die like nearly 10 m behind corners. Dice/EA "quality team" has done poor job. I own all bf titles. I will not buy next title before gunplay works.

If its live service again for the love of god give us content, that drip feed they did in bf5 and 2042 really kills it. Also it needs something new and dynamic sure the classic conquest and rush etc are fun but we need something fresh maybe in game events that change each round not just levolution. Id be happy with a few more players too maybe 40 v 40 so they can make large maps but not so large its all useless space.

All I can take away from 2042 is that I’m so grateful I was able to experience the golden era of bf2 & bf2142 as a kid growing up. I had the highest hopes for the lore and story of 2042 to build up to the ice age 100 years ahead, but I was left with a sour taste for the franchise as they butchered one of my beloved childhood memories in every aspect.. I want to believe the next one will be better however a new game living up to expectations is more of a pipe dream.

I couldn't care less about a battle Royale. I want conquest to be amazing again. Maps need to be much much better

I was hooked on BFBC2 because the maps flowed so well in Rush, my fav game mode. Weapons also felt great and were fun to use.

Damn. Every time i hear something about Hardline i cringe. That was hands downs the worst game in the franchise. Bad company 2 was my favorite, followed by 4. Three was ok, but the suppression threw me way off. I couldn't play 5 and 1 because of gun play, but that was just me and my skill issues.

Hope they can make it work. 2042 never felt like a battlefield game. Might be hard to go back to original battlefield like games if they don’t have the original developers

The info so far sounds promising, but i still wouldn't pre order xD I'd like less OP vehicles with no regenerating armour and ammo (choppers and planes that don't have the health of an MBT) for a start. more weapons with a better build system, more maps added more regularly. no hero classes. but most importantly a working anti cheat because what they added to bf5/bf1 and even 2042s does not work effectively

They just need to remaster BC2 or BF3 an the entire community would be happy. Bring all the old maps back from them and add weapons.

I am not sure but don't wish something good with a company with agenda. if another company have the amount of money EA, have they would release much better game. EA is now different than before. battle royal always split community like DLC do. bf with battle royal need new thoughts and going to make developers focus on it instead of base game. people going to say we need the new bf be like bf3 and 4 but if they do, they going to say it is the same. yes, bf3 and 4 the core of those games but with new ideas and if they can with better game play. maybe same fun and quality and good maps but not the same. I mean not remake.

Kinda disappointed they're capping teams at 32 v 32, 128 player or 254 player matches are completely do-able if the devs know how to make good large-scale maps and incentivize teamwork. Scaling down to 64 players just seems unambitious.

I want bfv gunplay and fortifications, 2142 squads and commanders, bring back manual bipods and suppression, bf1 atmosphere and grittiness.

BF2042 is the biggest dumpsterfire ever made, i dont think its possible to make it any worse

I understand the argument from those who don’t want a BR. I just can’t help but think that completely ignoring some sort of fp2 offering on the past 2 titles has been a pretty stupid decision. We can all imagine how dope a proper BF BR could be if done well.

What is so awful of 2042 is its atmosphere. It’s so lifeless and lacking heart.

Event if they can still make a game that people wish, Ea will find a way to insert something to ruin the whole experience.

Get rid of the hero-shooter nonsense, let me create my own soldier, more destruction, bring back the commander, bring back the service record, bring back dog tag collecting, make vehicles spawn again - like on an airfield or something. Asymmetric spawn points, proximity chat, the ability to drag downed teammates to safety. That's a start at least.
