this song brings backs only the finest memories growing up in the late 60's and early 70's. I always have to play it like 10 times in a row!

This was the finest of all the fine songs Gary Puckett and the Union Gap did.

This and other songs like it remind me of my small childhood. People forget about the vast radio and personal popularity of lush music such as Over You. What stands out for me now is the amazing vocal skills Gary had, the small orchestra used---the tympani, the oboe, trumpet, strings. So gorgeous and so gone to us now.
