ОтветитьYou can carry cash in Japan because no one is going to stick a gun in your face and take it off you. Stay out of those sketchy nightclubs and you'll be fine.
ОтветитьI LOVE YOU PAAAOOOOLOOOOO
ОтветитьI'm screwed 😅 I have tats
ОтветитьWhen it comes number three I‘s gonna say that’s too easy but then again I’m from America where the drinking age is 21 and even if you look like you could be doing one old are they still do you say car you I mean I’m 31 and I’m still getting carded And I don’t look that useful I mean I don’t look like I’m 10 years younger than I actually am and you at 3110 years past the minimum drinking age I’m still getting hard sometimes so I think it’s a bit too easy especially with the vending machines is the city depending on where are they located, how do they make sure people who are not 20 years old yet aren’t getting product from them and even with the store if you press yes you’re 20 you could lie because somebody could be 19 or 18 and precious. They’re 20 because 19 and 18 you could look like you’re 20 at 19 or 18 how do they know that a 19 or even 18 out on pressing yester 20 when there’s still one or two years off from that how can I make sure that even though you’re passing the yester train that you’re not lying that you’re the one or two years off from 20 years old maybe that’s just the American men me because think so quite Strattera comes to stuff like that and so maybe it’s just the American version. Things have been drilled in to be my whole life but I still think it’s a little bit too easy not seeing America isn’t too hard. I think this should be somewhere in between less strict than here in America, but more strict than there is gonna be a happy medium so win between the two I still think it’s a smidgen too easy like 10% to 30% too easy which 10 to 30% is not that bad it is just need some fine-tuning of stuff and maybe not to have the vending machines out anymore. At least add something into them to be able to make sure that the people buying the products of them those particular ones are at least 20 extra level of measurement on the fender machines and maybe a little bit more within the stores as well like having to press yes I’m 20 but also if you look still fairly young, still having to show your ID or a government issued form of identification, even if it’s a passport for travelers showing that you are at least 20% added level to each of those respectively, and think it would be good like that that’s coming from an American we’re drinking age is actually a whole year older because it’s 21 and the gang it even wants to 21 is a lot harder
Ответить"Just cooperate with police, I know it sounds strange"
As an American citizen it never sounded strange, until just a few years ago.
喫煙者の人権を踏み躙っていることに対しては断固として抗議していかなければならない🪧
ОтветитьMost restaurants are non-smoking these days!😊
ОтветитьHey, can you guys recommend any onsen in Hakone that has private rooms for use in the day? I looked up online and looks like there are a few, but the sites are really confusing, sometimes it seems you also need a room to sleep there at night, but I just want to do a day trip to one with my girlfriend
Ответитьありがとうございます。日本人ですが
助かります。
Can hire you as guide? I will in Tokyo next week
ОтветитьAt the Narita airport, when just get off the plane we walk to the passport control, my wife want go to rest room, I wait outside then I saw a row of chairs at the wall near by, I tow the luggage to those chair sit down, open my pack back pull out the Japan SIM card that I bought in US, and try to read the instructions to install the Japan SIM card, a Japan police approach and look what I am doing and help me to set up the Japan SIM card. It is cool isn’t.
Ответитьunlawful orders from police are a bit more than "a bit strange." lol
ОтветитьIve never been in Japan, but theres no wayyy 10-20k dollars is walking around money. silly
ОтветитьI know this video was 5 years ago... but Non-Tipping culture seems to be ending... you do NOT tip but there is 15% service charge... sooo same
ОтветитьOmoiyari----why would this not stop public smoking
ОтветитьSingapore and Japan both equally safe ?
ОтветитьI hate background music, it’s distracting & irritating
ОтветитьAs a first time visitor to Japan, I found the police in the streets very approachable and helpful with directions to get me back on track.
ОтветитьPhilippines should have rule number 2. It would make the streets a lot cleaner.
ОтветитьYou realise the US is like the only country where the drinking age is 21? Almost every other country has a drinking age of 18
ОтветитьI LOVE THE RULE THAT YOU PAY PER PERSON NOT THE ROOM SO MUCH!!! I am usually a solo travel and it is not very financial-friendly to pay by room.
ОтветитьThis is such a useful tool for travelers. Get a lawyer to explain local rules and procedures that might apply to tourist. Have you considered expanding this to other countries, many people assume the “rights and protections” they have in there own country also apply in the country they are visiting. Things like free speech or the presumption of innocence can get you into trouble without you even being aware. Please keep up the good work, ignorance of the law is never a defense education of the law may be your only protection.
ОтветитьDuring my stay in Tokyo, with my co-English language teacher, we would agree that we never approach or ask a policeman for direction.Much better to ask local even in broken Japanese. It'll leads to asking your ID first and ask you many questions before giving you directions. TROUBLESOME.
ОтветитьIf your not doing anything wrong, it shouldn’t be a problem to comply with an officer. DON’T BE A KAREN!
ОтветитьI can see Beavis and Butthead steady hitting the I am 20 button
ОтветитьDon’t forget to have the cost of your pasmo or PiTaPa card refunded when you leave Japan ( or simply you don’t need it anymore)
You’ll get your 500yen back!
Smoking should be banned permanently everywhere.
ОтветитьNice video, about the drinking age I don’t think it applies to foreigners, as when I was there I was able to drink and I was only 18 with no problem. Maybe because I was military in a town outside the base.
ОтветитьThis is stupid. Don’t walk and eat cuz it “disturbs others?” 😂 can’t enter with tattoos? But yeah u can smoke in a restaurant and others have to inhale secondhand smoke 🤦♀️ 😂 Sounds like a hypocritical society with zero flexibility or personal freedom. No thanks last thing I need
Ответитьhow can you feel safe with all the porn and perverts?
ОтветитьYour guide vlog is a treasure trove of wisdom for rookies like me. Your personal touch sets it apart. Oh, and before I forget, have you heard about the v4 Bento Bag by NomadLane? It's creating quite a buzz among travelers.
ОтветитьIn the province of Ontario in Canada you can drink at 19.
ОтветитьYou've convinced me. Stay away from Japan.... Thank You.
ОтветитьYo ! - did you escape from the lab in Wuhan ?
ОтветитьI have travelled and lived outside of Canada. Always respect the Culture and ensure you adhere to it, regardless of your thoughts or beliefs. And beware of any gender issues regarding dress codes, especially for females. It can create a situation if you don't respect those ones, even innocently. Been there, did it!!
ОтветитьThanks for your videos.
It is important for Americans to understand that Japan is an expensive, xenophobic police state.
There are plenty of more interesting, freer places to visit in this world.
nice video brother like it
ОтветитьIn Germany you're coming of age at 18, so we're allowed to drink alcohol at that age👌
ОтветитьI keep hearing you using the American expression "pissed off". you use the expression repeatedly. Find a more professional term. To say "pissed off" is low class if you are trying to talk about manners.
Ответитьhello, are buses and metros just as busy as the trains during rush hour?
Ответитьyou have brought my waiting to an end i really love your videos. welcome to sri lanka🇱🇰
ОтветитьThe tattoo rule is great. Keep it classy.
ОтветитьI live in Japan as a foreigner. I married a Japanese woman, after serving in Japan with the Army, and we have two daughters. I don't live in Tokyo, we live in my wife's hometown, much smaller. I do speak Japanese fluently and many of my neighbors are very friendly, but I do have tattoos and that does draw some attention. Having said that, it's not like I am a yakuza transfer from the US, so it hasn't been too bad. Every time we do go to the bigger cities and we come across tourists, I feel like im far too Japanese these days and I hope that they are quiet and they conduct themselves properly. My advice, especially in the digital age, is do some research and get a lay of the land and culture, as you would do for any foreign country you may visit.
ОтветитьSmoking as in cigarettes only or is cigars allowed? Nothing better then a cigar & whiskey
ОтветитьWho the hill eats while walking ?!
I dont think this is acceptable anywhere !!
Maybe an ice cream and thats it
