Cicada Septendecim Calling for Love - Up Close and Personal - 06/04 - Brood II in NJ - HD

Found a lonely magicicada septendecim looking for love. He was a rambunctious one. You'll hear numerous calls in this video. The cicadas are active today. The constant chorus in the background is getting louder and closer. There have also been numerous magicicada cassinis calling as well. Love is in the air!

I am going to continue looking for cicadas calling up close. It is most certainly a challenge, but it is a fun one.
