Mayo Clinic Mt. Everest Research Team Gears Up at Midwest Mountaineering

The Mayo Clinic Everest Research Team is currently (May 4, 2012) at almost 18,000 feet conducting medical/monitoring tests on National Geographic,The North Face and Montana State University climbers...as they prepare to climb the world's tallest mountain.

However, before some team members left for the Himalayas they needed to prepare themselves for the trek. Wonder if they really knew what they were getting themselves into? Let's just say they needed different gear than blood pressure cuffs and scrubs.
