Love the episodes (should be longer) - But is that really how our scouting staff discusses players?? (strong, fast, special, etc). Where’s the analytics, specific numbers, traits, achievements? Instead of just adjectives.

Having the very best GM in the league is so important because in years 5-10 of his tenure, makes or breaks the franchise. The Colts are SO fortunate to have Chris Ballard and Ive been a fan since the early 60s. There is not a better GM anywhere in this league!!

So these professional experts that work on scouting every day can’t put together a team that is capable of winning the division championship in a decade. Why aren’t heads rolling?

Anthony impressed me with his evaluation of Jaylon Jones. He stood on his soap box for him and we drafted him in the 7th round. He was a starter last season and showed some really impressive plays. A 7th rounder…

I always love watching this every year. I admit that I was pretty much done with the Colts because I watch a lot of podcast shows that cover the Colts and every year they get us so ramped up for the season and then they disappoint us. It just gets so old. I’ve always wondered if they get paid to talk them up so much for ticket sales. But yet this show always draws me back in so I’m hoping for a good season 😊
