Would love it if you'd have Josh on to give his perspective
ОтветитьP.S one would think that these would get more views.
ОтветитьThis is gold for everyone. Everyone should approach music this way in some manner.
ОтветитьWhat a fantastic series of interviews this was. We couldn't have asked for these guys to be interviewed by anyone better than Rick Rubin.
ОтветитьThese guys are articulate and intelligent, in addition to their musical talent.
Ответитьfull spanish pls🙏
ОтветитьI love John and Flea
ОтветитьWould love to hear John's original version of Black Summer
ОтветитьThe fact that this interview ends with that last question and Anthony sharing his experiences and then discovering that Anthony and John are fans of those specific bands mentioned was the cherry on top.
ОтветитьAnthony: "So yes John I want you to know that whenever we're apart and I'm doing music I NEVER forget you." 😭😭😭
John: yeah.
RHCP is amazing but don't forget that john frusciante has somewhere like 7 albums all of them are great and my personal favorite.
I just mean to say that there are few people I guess rare to make so many songs like john does and all of them are damn good.
And the work he's done in electronic music is great too.
John frusciante to me still seems underrated even though he's preety famous. But he is damn talented. I would compare him to one of those Beethoven, types of our generation.
Such good albums his singles are gem.
Thank you John frusciante.
That's so cool. What a feeling it must be to realize what you were born to do. I'm anxiously awaiting that kind of epiphany. I trust so much in my higher power that it will happen, in the meantime continue to learn and grow. And not become too jaded. Much love to all you beautiful souls out there <3
ОтветитьThis series of interviews has made me fall in love with RHCP. What a great group of guys.
ОтветитьYeah
ОтветитьIt really does seem like John was born to be in the band. He joined at 18, and the massive ups and downs of his life, including going near the edge of death, were connected to RHCP.
The three albums Californication, BTW, and Stadium Arcadium, were culture defining albums.
The two new albums with John are great also, especially dream canteen
bull shit every 10 seconds a child Dies
ОтветитьBRILLIANT☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆
ОтветитьThat is funny. Anthony and John love the three songs that I love the most on the album!!!!
ОтветитьRHCP. are so much better when they just stay in their original lane. A different version of BSSM would still blow away their original fans. Just like Californication, By the Way.
ОтветитьI heard john gave river phoenix his last drink at viper room
ОтветитьI wish I was in John's position where all I had to do was join a band and make enough money to not have to worry about that anymore.
Ответитьrick rubin might actually qualify for years on unemployment benifits. Like the guy lined up with a paper plate at your BBQ that nobody knows. I thought he came with you.
ОтветитьThis is brilliant
ОтветитьThese guys are great because they are all in tune to each other. They respect, and know what they each do to create the music!! 🎉
ОтветитьRound the 22nd minute mark, Anthony is so eloquently laying out the process of what happened, so precisely describing his perspective and feelings....that's so beautiful and mature and wise and loving...followed by John's goofy 'yeah yeah'. Priceless.
ОтветитьI just think it's so beautiful that the RHCP are 4 grown men who aren't afraid to be silly, be emotional, express their love for each other to each other and the world. It's such a healthy way to live and to hear Anthony and John who have been through so much together still have the deepest respect and admiration for one another is really life affirming :)
Ответить⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
ОтветитьThis plays like an episode of Story Corp on NPR.. excellent job!!
ОтветитьRed Hot Chili Peppers were one of my favorite acts at Woodstock ‘94. Anthony was so damn hot! 🔥 ❤️😄
ОтветитьRick rubin should be a band therapist
ОтветитьI honestly don't understand why this band can't have two guitarist
ОтветитьAnthonys lisp
ОтветитьIs magnificent, I’m fascinated… John talking about inspiration from Nirvana and Kurt Cobain… they’re perfectly aligned ❤
ОтветитьCan you write original music?
ОтветитьThis is my reason to be alive 🥰
ОтветитьAntHoney´s singing and lyrics on Carry me Home are incredibly beautiful ❤
ОтветитьCan't do it without visual.
ОтветитьThey field their form while playing their tunnel how to manifest the matrix they evolve through.
ОтветитьThis is cool but its sad theres no love or mention for Josh Klinghoffer. Bit snidey.
ОтветитьCharlie Christian
Freddie King
Johnny "Guitar" Watson
Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown
Jeff Beck
Jimmi Hendrix
John McGeoch
John Valentine Curruthers
Kurt Cobain
Eddie Van Halen
Randy Rhoads
I love that episode! It was so wonderful to hear those stories and history and memories ❤
Ответить👋
ОтветитьI like what they were doing with Josh much more than the last two albums with Frusciante. These last two albums don't have any song that can even come close to their own Top 30 songs.
ОтветитьAs much as happy I am to see John with the Peppers again, not mentioning Josh's name at least one single time and honoring his work with the band, is really not fair, especially from ex band mates. At least Flea did really praise him during the interviews.
ОтветитьAnthony and John’s friendship blossomed into such a beautiful and admirable thing. Witnessing them connect and love each other again makes me so damn happy. Being able to genuinely care, learn, understand, accept, and fully love another person for who they are is what true friendship requires to make it completely whole ❤️
Ответитьman we need the video of this
