Hi, can you provide info about those "auger" looking drill bits?

Just got my first drill press and I feel like I just stepped into a goldmine finding this video.

i have always been told that your shouldnt put horizantal pressure on a drill press because the bearings on them arent designed for it. just vertical pressure.

Every video I just shake my head at the pure talent of this amazing man! His videos are gold and he always gives us the schematic, just passing on his knowledge for everyone to be better!
Last one blew my mind, how on earth did he figure that out?!

It's funny to see a video like this, in which a person points out x times "how not to do it" on the drill press and to use the shown hacks / jigs to clamp down the workpiece..., and he himself, during creating stuff in this video, do not use any tools for clamping down....😉😊

Yes, why use the spreader clamp directly on the part and table when you can spend two hours over-building an unsafe top-mounted version with less clamping force?

Сверлильный пресс... Первый раз слышу такое выражение. И какое максимальное давление ваш пресс может развивать? Ступичный подшипник с автомобиля можно выпрессовать?

Вот так надо изьебываться что бы к тискам струпцину присобачить? А не легче если нет тисков для сверлильного с низу к столу прижать? Эта пластиковая струпцина держит максимум 7кг

Get an XY sliding table, and the center drilling demo is fine for non critical work, but you’re never getting true square and center drilled parts with any measure of depth on a drill press

Clamp idea was very cool. I may try that myself. Centre drilling is cool too. Have to be careful the chuck on the bottom can't slide out of alignment, though. You don't need the sides for the multifunction table if you have clamps for the t-track.

That drill press vice made me cringe.

O CENTER DRILLING cheguei a pensar em fazer, mas como a minha furadeira de bancada demorou pra chegar, acabei por fazer um furo a mão, e claro que saiu de centro.
Outra ideia seria colocar a parafusadeira deitada (poderia até ser dobrável) aumentar a coluna e usar como torno!

The drill chuck thing was cool, BUT did you see that Slowpoke? It even has feet as the catch. 😂 I am surprised no one else mentioned it.
