One of the best videos you've done in a long time. I love how wholesome it is, it wasn't a home "done during the pandemic", a full gut reno done in a year, etc. She's been making this a home for 30 years and it doesn't end. Filled with treasures she loves from people around her. Colour and quirk. This is absolutely perfect. I want more stylish grandma's sharing what they love.

I love how everything comes together. Very calm and cozy. I love all the soft colors and how fortunate to have so many artists in the family and as friends. The comment about how they repurposed the bricks that were in the barn outside and then put floorboards in because cows don't like floorboards was funny.

How refreshing to see a beautiful home that doesn't look like a stage setting. It's not about where they've been or who they know, it's about heart. Drawings and sculptures by the children and grandchildren take pride of place and have become precious objects. Vanessa inspires us to embrace color, texture and a sense of adventure in her decor, this is a home I would love to visit.

I loved this episode with Vanessa. My home is very much like hers, with homemade things all around , made by myself, children, and grandchildren. You could feel the love, creativity, and respect for each other in that home, it was absolutely beautiful. A real home as it should be.

The very best house I've seen on Homeworthy.

This is a very warm, inviting, down to earth home filled with personal ephemera and yet still very stylish. There's something so different about a home that has evolved over years and decades vs. one that is done on a shorter timeline. I love the colors and her prints and I love how she has kid art alongside more sophisticated pieces. Painted wood floors are such an underappreciated source of color. I even like how it looks with the worn down spots. It's nice to see something naturally worn over time as opposed to the faux worn look you can buy in the store that is popular now
