ОтветитьSaw Frank Zappa Joe's Garage Tour 1980 Providence Civic Center, May 2nd, 1980. He had the stage set up as a garage w/a band playing in it. Concert blew me away @17 yrs old.

ОтветитьIn 2009, I celebrated the 30th anniversary of 1979 stuff like films, songs, shows, and others, etc. Besides, in 2010, I celebrated the 30th anniversary of 1980 stuff like films, songs, shows, and others, etc.
ОтветитьR.I.P. Frank Zappa
ОтветитьI read that the theme of the album (censorship, dangers of large government) was based on the iranian revolution of 1979 where rock music was banned
ОтветитьHungry FREAKS...Daddy !!!
ОтветитьI saw Dweezil live in Houston Tx recently & I met an older gentleman in the elevator (tbf I was a few of the handful of young people at the show, the majority were people over 50) & the guy asked me “you were too young to see Frank huh?”
& I laughed & agreed with him.
He then told me the story of how Frank played in Houston, in the middle of Dinah-Moe Humm, fans were throwing objects on stage for Frank to play with, someone threw a cowboy hat & he wore it for a bit. When Frank threw the hat back to the audience like a frisbee, someone caught it & the moment that person caught it, he stopped the band completely & it went silent. Frank then said in the mic “Now, now, you bring that back right here” the guy did & Frank continued the song.
I love hearing Frank stories, no matter how small the story is. That specific story put a smile on my face. Wish I could’ve gotten the guys name to give him credit.
Zappa manly moustache compare to Hitler one sheweepsnlyladytash!
