Lol. This is not a historical drama. This is a drama set in a theme park version of Regency England. Forget the race. The costumes and hair are often inaccurate. The manners and speech are often inaccurate. The last thing I'd compare it to is Pride and Prejudice since that one was made during the actual era and is a fairly accurate representation of daily life among the gentry.
