Did your gin rummy experience help?
ОтветитьThis is the game that made me realize I could not 100% the whole game, because I tried and tried but could not figure out this one, no matter how much I read up. I ended up mashing A through the normal difficulty and finished in 3rd place, which... was not encouraging in the least.
ОтветитьAre there a bunch of new Yaku added to the game? They seem to make it easier to complete a hand but I worry it would encourage lower value hands over going for the bigger hands.
ОтветитьI figured this one was going to be painful. :) It's a very nice game. If you want to play better, you can ask. :)
Tips:
- Always have a yaku in mind. You don't need to memorize them all, but learn the most common ones.
- Don't call chii/pon if you have no yaku. Common yaku are dragon tiles, good wind tiles (see next tip), all simples (all the tiles in your hand numbered from 2 to 8 only), three-colored run (same sequence on all three suits, vg 456, 456, 456), and of course, riichi.
- Dragons are better than winds if they are not the table wind (East in the big E-1 in the middle), or your own wind (the one next to your score.
- Yellowish tiles are Dora, those are good. Keep them instead of equivalent tiles.
- Keep extra tiles around your projected sets. If you have, say, 67 bamboos, and extra 6 is helpful for a while. You always need a pair.
- ALWAYS riichi if given the option. The cases where riichi is wrong are rare, and no need to worry about them if you only plan to play at this level.
Been trying the last one for me master Riichi mahjong for a week now and i hate it so much
ОтветитьRiichi Mahjong is like similar to Mario Mahjong on Nintendo DS, for reason that one is like this game except the hard part is that they give directions to which tile you should discard, this one doesn’t tell you which one to discard... But I think it’s tough since I never played this version before...
I don’t like playing Master level CPUs, it’s stronger and they would make their tiles to create a better one...
Hold up man why u take 57 minutes to do that?
ОтветитьI'm so glad they included riichi mahjong. I was worried it might be that tile matching game
ОтветитьThis Game is sooooo confusing
ОтветитьWhen I am playing this my brain is just confused on what to do
ОтветитьBruh this is so hard. No matter what AI level you have, it’s painful. I’m a Canadian who’s part Latino so either way, hard and confusing as hell. And I thought Chess and Shogi was a pain on the ass
Ответить"the pieces go 'clack' when you set them down"
most useful piece of mahjong information ever
Even with the tutorial video it took me a while....
ОтветитьI was watching this video not knowing how to play. I still don’t know how to play
ОтветитьThis game is still confusing to me 3 years later... I can play tile matching just fine but the actual Mahjong is pretty daunting without intense memorization. Hardest game in the whole collection
Ответитьfor anyone who wants to learn this, i recommend a game called kemono mahjong. it offers the best tutorial ive seen so far. you can also try a free browser based game called mahjong soul but its tutorial is not as helpful
