ОтветитьI'm still in my early 30's & due to some health issues I couldn't keep up with any type of workout on YT I always feel either it's harsh on my body or not beginner friendly , this workout is so great cause I was looking for light yet effective workout and I found it here , thanks a lot you made my day ❤

ОтветитьI so enjoy all your senior workouts. If I only have a little bit of time, I can find one to suit the time I have to exercise. When I have a longer space of time, I can find a longer one. Both of your are a joy to watch. Your cat is beautiful

ОтветитьThis workout is a definite challenge for someone over 50 with fibromyalgia. It should help me a lot. I had to use a chair at times, and no weights yet.

Thank you so very much for these exercises, I'm 70 and although young at heart my muscle strength just isn't there anymore. I'm sick and tired of all these people offering to help but charging the earth for the "help" given. We are all of a certain age struggling along on a pension some of which are pretty paltry so you are a godsend.

ОтветитьYou aree great and mom is so precious. I had Guillain Berra Syndrome worse Nov 2022. I will be 73 in August and still struggling for balance and walking. This GBS is such a struggle. your mom gives me inspiration she shows us any movement is great. By the grace of God I will become more normal. Still struggling between wheelchair, rollator walkjer and 2 4 legged canes. you keep up the good work. Love y'all.

ОтветитьI discovered your channel two weeks ago as my Dr strongly suggested I begin a strength training program. I’ve been diagnosed with osteoporosis and poor muscle mass even though I’ve always been physically active. I bought resistance bands and my daughter gave me 5 pound dumbbells. I love watching and participate in your exercises 3 days a week. I love the interaction between mother and daughter. Thank you.

ОтветитьI have had MS for over 30 years and I love your workouts! I have followed along with several of them but this 30 minute strength workout is my favourite. I would love it if you would do another 30 minute strength training workout so I can switch it up a bit!

ОтветитьJust want to say thank you! Some days I get very discouraged that I cannot keep doing what I used to do . At 77 years old, with osteoarthritis and overuse injuries (having done high impact aerobic for too many year,s, and yard work) , I do try to keep going .
I am encouraged ny Aiko, who keeps on going and you, April, for you expertise, encouragement and kindness. Please keep doing what you do.

ОтветитьI've been using your strength training videos for about 2 months now. I can tell it's working because I just ordered heavier weights. Started with 3 lbs but now using 5 lbs and I just ordered 7 lb weights. Challenging my muscles to quote you!

I am 52 but have avoided working out for 20 plus years due to a slipped disc and fear of muscle spasms - whilst hubby works out with his full on weight training process, I do these three times a week and can feel the change already - you both have such lovely demeaners its a pleasure to work out - thank you x
ОтветитьFirst time trying this one, and I think this was the most challenging strength workout I've ever done (and maybe the longest also), but I did it all and feel great! I used 5-lb. dumbbells for most of the exercises, but only one of them for the woodchops and side squats, and I used 3-lb. dumbbells for the arm up/knee up combo. I got so dewy by the middle of the workout that I had to change into a lighter-weight T-shirt than the one I had on, and that one got pretty wet too! I didn't do any of the extra challenges, but I was able to keep up with the basic ones without modification except for weight level. Unexpected bonus: by the time I finished the full workout & cooldown + a few extra stretches, I had reached over 1,700 steps, according to my phone, which was in my leggings pocket during the workout.

We are loving this one also! any tips for keeping shoulders relaxed? I find myself consciously having to relax them so much when i strength train. maybe that's all i need to do. Your reminders to have good posture and hold your head up high are very helpful.
