Temur!!!! X3 Either Temur or Abzan
ОтветитьI was never born at all!
ОтветитьI just now realized Sarkhan is speaking to Ugin in this trailer as well
ОтветитьAnyone know if this is Clancy Brown doing the voice?
ОтветитьMan, I wish I started MTG from this set.
Ответитьwhy are we not getting a magic tv show I don't get it, Netflix please make one.
ОтветитьI love their storylines. But i would like a simpler one. Without the multiverse at stake, or planeswalkers, just a simple journey.
ОтветитьSounds like Pong Krell from Star Wars the Clone Wars
ОтветитьI would much rather have had the rest of the set be a continuation of this rather than dragons. Because the Khans were FAR cooler.
Ответить"A world that needs you" ...no, don't include me. I'm just here for the ride.
ОтветитьIs that has Delgado?
ОтветитьI really want WotC to release the music from their trailers for sale.
ОтветитьThen Sarkhan destriyed it all with timetravel hijinks.
Ответитьthis trailer has a bad scene in every 24.8 seconds I give it a solid 7 out of 10
ОтветитьReally appreciate it! MTG should make this storyline into a movie:) If I have enough money, I will definitely do the investment lol~ 1st : Mongols lived in the western side of East Asia; 2 nd: Tibet; 3 rd: Mongols/Manchus lived in the farthest northern side(somewhere just beside Russia's territory, relatively more approachable to the east); 4 th: somewhere around Yunnan province; 5 th: seems like in the Mid-East. Just a quick guess for the geological location of each one in the real world!
ОтветитьSultai for life
ОтветитьThat flute tho.....
ОтветитьPretty sure Sarkhon is being voiced by the guy who voiced kratos. After playing god of war 4, I'm really certain
ОтветитьMy fav set of all time
ОтветитьDammit Sarkhan. We liked the Clans.
We finally got wedge factions, and then they were snatched away from us in favor of "half the Guilds, but one-dimensional and scaly this time."
This background music is so epic
ОтветитьLove playing Khans. Personally prefer Temur, and Abzan is a close second.
ОтветитьI wish I was born that time
ОтветитьThis is the worst set of all of magic the gathering
ОтветитьBut Sarkhan had to go to the past and ruin everything
Ответить...and the Abzan had become unstoppable desert warriors: enduring, loyal, surprisingly hard to kill.
[Siege Rhino intensifies]
If magic is Doom Khans is Brutal Doom. Still the most brutal set for drafting I have seen so far.
ОтветитьI MISS NARSETS STAFF PLS, IT SUITS HER WELL
ОтветитьOne of the single best sets ever. Wizards, return to this era. Please
ОтветитьI wish sets were like this again, and everything was at a better time a golden age you could say.
ОтветитьOne of my favourite mtg sets ever. I really hope we go back there in the future magic sets.
ОтветитьAbzan is basically Afghanistan
ОтветитьThis trailer's original soundtrack is just amazing! I wish it was avaiable somewhere to listen it...
ОтветитьOut of all of MTG’s trailers outside of War of the Spark, I love the music in this one so much. The flourish of the flute, the desolation which accurately describes Tarkir before Sarkhan goes back in time...perfect.
ОтветитьAbzan - Uyghurs
Mardu - Mongols
Jeskai - Tibetans
Temur - Manchurians, Jurchen tribes with Siberian aesthetic
Sultai - South Chinese, at least the former inhabitants, but with Indic/Thai aesthetic
Dragons - Communist China
This is basically a thinly-veiled re-telling on how the Chinese Communist Party rose to power in China, but used the "Five Races Under One Banner" of the previous ruling dynasty.
I love how the jeskai are the only good guyz all of the other clans are full of greedy, murderous and maniacal soldiers.
ОтветитьThe “surprisingly hard to kill” is so satisfying to me for some reason
Ответитьi am watching this 8 years later and im still hyped
ОтветитьThis set was my first set ive ever opened a pack of mtg cards out of, i always loved the jeskai banner since it was american colors and also how the colors worked in the game itself
ОтветитьBest Magic set, hands down. Explores some really cool fantasy based on some neat asian cultures. Each clan felt distinct and the lore and culture surrounding each one is just *chef's kiss*; on top of all that, the fact that each reveres the dragon brood they hunted down is cool. And the return of the dragons is awesome. I cant wait to see if we revisit this plane in either another set, or even as a DND set book, or both.
ОтветитьOne of the best blocks and best sets out there.
ОтветитьOne of my favorite planes of all time.
ОтветитьI understand why 4/5 clans drove dragons extinct, but why did the Jeskai? They’re monks, you’d think they’d learn to coexist with dragons.
ОтветитьCan't believe this was 10 years ago
ОтветитьIt's so over.
ОтветитьSomeone rip this soundtrack for me, for god sake 😭😭
ОтветитьI saw the new trailer and came back because I love the little opening they did, a homage to this and Dragons of Tarkirs trailer.
ОтветитьThis still hits super hard, even 10 years later
ОтветитьStill hits hard after 10 years. Loved this set and the Abzan. Love buffing the team with +1 counters!
