To this day no show imo has come anywhere near the emotion of Roc. Was Fox sabotaging it? It really makes no sense why it wasnt a smash hit. You watch shows for atmosphere and acting right? This show hit on every cylinder even the comedic parts.

This scene doesn't get old. As good as it was, the one where Andre (Clifton Powell) talks to the kid that pulled the trigger is even more powerful. "when you find it in your heart, i want you to write that boy's mother" 💯

I remember as a kid , I loved this show. And always rooted for ROC!!! When he’d bring home something he re used from work. Second hand. Loved it. Growing up I knew the value of these things. Might not have a lot of money , but the small things you cherish. And family is EVERYTHING! 🥰🥰🥰

I’ve seen people get yoked up like this in lock up. Same EXACT energy and anger. Some youngster touched down and was busted stealing from the whites and the guy that was running the pod for the blacks did that youngster like this. He really wanted to give it to him but was holding back because of how young the kid was. All the whites and eses were watching it go down and nobody was laughing or talking. Black boss was really saving the kids life pretty much.
