SWFL Eagles ~ M15 & F23 Kick Off Season 13! Both Eagles Home & On The Nest! F23 Closeups 9.17.24

M15 & F23 both fly into the nest tree this afternoon - M15 lands on the outer branch and F23 on the attic! It is so exciting to see them both live at the nest tree & to be able to watch them get ready for the new season!

We have some amazing zooming from our cam op today on F23 💕 She is looking beautiful perched on the attic. We have closeups of her face, talons and even her curled relaxed foot as she perches. Handsome M15 remains on the outer branch preening and keeping watch over his territory.

M15 will fly into the nest and F23 follows him and they do some aerating of the nesting material. I was interested to see if M15 was going to move that big log that F23 brought in and placed in the center of the nest - but alas, they both seem to just ignore it being there and aerate the nesting material around it. After a few minutes, F23 flies to the veranda and attic and M15 joins her as they perch together & enjoy the setting sun.

They had a second visit to the nest and F23 brought in nesting materials - stay tuned for the conclusion of their nest visit in my next video! Thank you for watching!
