For a serious battle 5.56 is the best..if that doesn't feel enough maybe turn to .270 is the perfect choice this .308 cartridge is too much although it might have a good impact..that heavy round wil make all our soldier exhausted and blunt.

Controlled pair shooting is much effective in this cal rifles. Unless using LMG or bipod fixed on rif, never use auto fearure in this calibre unless you are killing an elephant

Oir soldiers need to learn to shoot in a stable position where you don't break your position however hard the recoil is. They need to keep shooting this rifle untill it becomes a muscle memory. If You shoot once and break your position as if someone has pushed you means that you're unstable and will be easily spotted by the enemy. Practice in a position as if you were in a real combat and keep firing till it feels normal as if you are wielding a knife.
