What I Wish I Knew Before Becoming A Software Engineer

Anyone can speak in retrospect about how they would have done things differently if they went back in time and I am no different. Here's what I learned after working as a software engineer in different companies for the past few years, that would've saved me so much time and effort in terms of getting my first job & performing well right from the start.
