In Taiwan, the Tsou people became the third aborigine tribe to have an audio Bible in their language, following the Taos and Amis. On January 7th, the Lalauya Presbyterian Church held a special service in celebration. Participants gave thanks and offered blessings for all the hard work over the past four months. Taiwan has over 6,700 Tsous, most of whom live in Alishan Township. The completion of this audio Bible is an important milestone in the preservation of Tsou culture.

During the special service, members of the Wycliffe Taiwan recording team, who took part in the project, shared the many challenges and blessings they encountered along the way.

According to the Wycliffe Global Alliance, of the 7,000 languages in the world, only 700 have complete Bible translations. In Taiwan, the wait continues for the Paiwan, Rukai, and 5 other aborigine tribes as the work of translating the Bible into their languages continues on.
