What I hope is that Miocic, given 3 years to heal from the knockout and fully healthy, digs back to Cormier 3 and just picks Jones apart on the feet. A 37 year old Miocic would dominate Jones when boxing and have a decent chance to not spend the whole fight on the ground. It is very unlikely, but maybe Jon underestimates his opponent, Miocic comes in without a lot of ring rust and fucks up Jones risk aversion. Even then Miocic could retire and force a new fight for the title, but he could also go up against whoever had the interim belt before the fight. Whatever the case is, after Jones fights Miocic the interim title goes away.

And I just disagree about Edwards vs Belal. They are both sharp technical fighters that don't put guys out. It will be a tactical battle. I don't see why it is so boring.
