Still have my pixel 2xl since 2017
Zero problems and going strong 💪

Overpriced, heats up quickly, battery drains fast, average screen with awful bezels and rainbow effect, only 128GB of "storage", slow charging speed, no charger on the box 👎

It's 2023 and the bottom bezel is still thicker than the other bezels. SIGH.

Samsung is a good rival to Google

Good but overated. Google have to give a powerful chip, better battery, better fast charging, better software update.

You know I would love to buy a pixel. I love the UI. It's the best looking UI on the planet right now. That's coming from someone with all Apple products. But the more I research about this phone, the more I get hesitant to drop money on something that may or may not be good.

i thought it was the canadian version 7 eh but it works in the states too.

just picked one a few days ago, from 3a XL to 7a is an inprovement in how it feels..
the battery is really really great but I guess it still learning how I use my device daily.. mine is on android 14 stable and no overheating issue, just that while holding too long it feels heavy.. hahahaaa

Pros: amazing camera, video recording, sound quality, Google pay works the best
Cons: slow charging, moderate battery life, 5G connectivity feels like 3G/4G, face/fingerprint unlock doesn't work, mobile internet doesn't always work

The price is too high for what it offers.

7a has 64mp camera but you have shown 16 mp as main camera. Why?

In this price range there are better phones with more features. Such as the ability to add SD cards up to 1TB capacity and dual SIM cards. Not to mention that some of the other brands also have standard Android as well or UIs that are also simple and not over-designed. The only compelling reason for me to purchase this phone is for the purpose of installing GrapheneOS since it is only designed to work with Google Pixel devices.

For me the Pixel 7a is the WORST PHONE EVER. It constantly crashes or lags, the touch screen often doesn't respond or is very slow. The call quality and network connection is terrible, its a small phone, so small screen size, so smaller keyboard which makes typing more difficult (smaller size can be a positive or negative depending on your point of view). The battery life is miserable, the charging is slow, as in 2010 standards slow. This morning it took 40mins to charge 20%. That was with a cable "fast charging", slow charge gives about 9% in 30mins, wireless charging is even slower (something like 8w) so pretty much pointless. I moved to this phone from a OnePlus 8t which is now about 3 years old and cost the same. It smashes the Pixel 7a in everyway. The only positive and I mean ONLY positive this phone has is the camera. Seriously consider buying another phone, because this one is sub par.

coming from a pixel 4a the only downside I see this that it doesn't have the biometric sensor on the back which is a feature I love from the pixel 4a

I absolutely hate mine! Overheating issues, rapid battery draining, and slight lag. Going back to Samsung.
