Namaste. Often we have seen that Cars' Speedometer speeds can be incorrect. There are various reasons for Speedo error, including but not limited to things like Wheel size, sensor calibrations, etc.
Manufacturers have often been accused of giving faulty Speedometer readings to show good mileage. Nevertheless, an industry standard says any reading beyond 10% is unacceptable. In this video, I have compared 6 cars being sold in India, including of brands like Tata, Mahindra, Hyundai, Maruti, Kia and Renault, to check Speedoerror in their vehicles.
