Many of us in the Western World don’t seem to understand that the reason we live in freedom today is because England battled the full strength of the Nazi war machine for months, with no help from even their most trusted allies, and refused to give up! The fact is, had England capitulated or fallen, the world would be a radically different place today, most likely split between the USSR and the whole of Nazi held territory! NOTE; While FDR agreed to send equipment to England, much needed manpower was never an option! The English people & those unwavering RAF pilots are the true heroes of WWII!
