Person killed after car crashes into Statesville laundromat, causing fire

One person was killed when a car crashed into a Statesville laundromat on Thursday, resulting in a fire.

Emergency responders were sent to C&H Laundry on Shelton Avenue around 10:15 a.m. When Statesville Fire and Statesville Police crews arrived, they found a vehicle that had crashed into the building.
